Job Summary :

Seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer with expertise in AWS to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data architectures. The ideal candidate will have experience in ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and optimize data pipelines using AWS (Glue, EMR, Redshift, S3, etc.).
• Maintain data lakes & warehouses for analytics.
• Ensure data integrity through quality checks.
• Collaborate with data scientists & engineers to deliver solutions.

Qualifications :

• 7+ Years in Data Engineering.
• Expertise in AWS services, SQL, Python, Spark, Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks.
• Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Healthcare/Insurance domain experience is a plus.

Job Overview:
Numen Health is looking for Tech Lead to join our Engineering team and lead all stages of the software product development life cycle. This will include analyzing system and user requirements, designing software flowcharts, writing clean Java code, troubleshooting bugs, and running tests to improve system functionality.

Requirements:

• Design, Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and Data warehouse to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.

• Develop and implement processes and systems to supervise data quality, data mining and ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key partners and business processes that depend on it.

• Perform data analysis required to solve data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.

• Complete ownership - You’ll build highly scalable platforms and services that support rapidly growing data needs in Toplyne. There’s no instruction book, it’s yours to write. You’ll figure it out, ship it, and iterate.

• 3-6 years of relevant work experience in a Data Engineering role.

• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.

• Experience building and optimising data pipelines, architectures and data sets.

• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.

• Good understanding of Airflow, Spark, NoSql databases, Kakfa is nice to have.

This is the first senior person we are bringing for this role. This person will start with the training program but will go on to build a team and eventually also be responsible for the entire training program + Bootcamp.

We are looking for someone fairly senior and has experience in data + tech. At some level, we have all the technical expertise to teach you the data stack as needed. So it's not super important you know all the tools. However, having basic knowledge of the stack requirement. The training program covers 2 parts - Technology (our stack) and Process (How we work with clients). Both of which are super important.

• Proven experience as a corporate trainer or have passion for Teaching/ Providing Training
• Expertise in Data Engineering Space and have good experience in Data Collection, Data
• Ingestion, Data Modeling, Data Transformation, and Data Visualization technologies and techniques
• Experience Training working professionals on in-demand skills like Snowflake, debt, Fivetran, google data studio, etc.
• Training/Implementation Experience using Fivetran, DBT Cloud, Heap, Segment, Airflow, Snowflake is a big plus
