Despite all the digital transformations everywhere, proptech for residential property resale and purchase, has been limited to classifieds (DIYs) so far.

All retail & services industries across India and the globe witnessed the shi from DIY startups to more fundamental DFY unicorns - eg. Justdial to Flipkart, OLX to Spinny. Except Property buying.

With the technology and the capability to execute millions of property inspections across geographies at the same time, by deploying a white-collar gig-workforce, Settlin is the first and only end-to-end platform for resale and purchase of residential Real Estate.

What is your role?

Engineers at Settlin are expected to

- be strong problem solvers with a deep understanding of how to make soware modular. If you’ve ever built a complete application/module all by yourself, that’s a major plus - train and coach other engineers on the team

What should you have mandatorily?

● A good understanding of Javascript concepts

● A hands-on on React, MongoDB

● A Deep Hunger to Learn and Create Technology

What will help you boost up your application?

● React Material UI Framework: Material UI

● Backend: Node.js, Meteor.js framework

Senior Software Engineer Full stack/ Java track/ UI/ Android

Skills required: -

• Good design skills and exposure to multiple software architectures. -

• Strong understanding of OO/ knowledge of frameworks such as Spring/ Spring Boot/ design and good software development practices. -

• Strong core server-

• side technologies experience (Java) and/or having any of front end/UI skills (Angular, JS, HTML). Knowledge of Android is a huge plus. -

• Strong database skills including schema design. -

• Strong knowhow of data-structures and algorithms. -

• Experience with configuration management, testing, deployment. -

• Hands on development across technologies. -

• Exp- 4-6yrs . -

• Grad- B.E/ B.Tech (Computer Science/ Equivalent) from a premier institute.

Aternately: -

• Strong UI architecture and design skills and keen business sense. -

• Excellent front end/UI skills (JS, HTML, Angular, Flutter) and OR Android skills. -

• Good knowledge of nodeJS. -

• Good knowhow of server-side technologies, exposure to databases. -

• Good exposure to configuration management, testing, deployment. -

• Deep knowhow of data structures, algorithms. -

• Hands on development across technologies. -

• Exp- 4- 6 Yrs

• Grad - B.E/ B.Tech (Computer Science/ Equivalent) from a premier institute.

1. Design patterns- socket communication/ micro services architecture

2. Caching - REDIS MEMCACHED etc

3. Database - MONGO, SQL etc. min 2yrs experience with these.

4. Features created for large concurrent requests.

5. Node Js, Go lang any asynchronous programming language min 2 yrs exp with any one of them.

6. Message Queues - RABBIT MQ, Kafka etc.

• Proven software development experience
• Proven working experience in Android
• Strong Java OOPs concepts and design patterns understanding
• Hands-on experience on Kotlin
• Good understanding of C and data structures, JavaScript
• Must have a good understanding of React Native or Cordova
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Have published at least one app in the Store
• Experience in writing SDK frameworks
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Knowledge of JNI, security algorithms
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces
• Knowledge of the open-source Android/iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

• Good to have: Experience in working on cross-platform such as Flutter, Kony

• Expertise in Java server-side development: Core Java, Golang Servlets, Spring Core, React JS, Spring Boot with GRPC, and Hibernate.
• Exposure to microservice design patterns.
• Good knowledge in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design, Analysis, Design patterns, and other computer science concepts.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL will be added advantage.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years JavaScript experience
• 2+ years frontend React JS framework experience

• Computer Science or related Engineering degree from a top-tier college
