SDE III / Tech Lead

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 5+ years | Type: Full-time | Reports to: CTO

Role Overview

Be a founding technical anchor, leading architecture and mentoring the core team as we scale PitchSense AI from MVP to enterprise platform.

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance systems for real-time AI simulations and analytics.
• Lead pods spanning frontend, backend, and DevOps.
• Own architecture, data flows, and AWS deployment strategy.
• Partner closely with product and design for cross-functional delivery.
• Mentor SDE I / II engineers and set engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience (1+ in lead/architect capacity).
• Deep expertise in TypeScript/Node.js, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL/Prisma, AWS Cloud.
• Proven record in distributed, data-intensive system design.
• Strong system design and DevOps understanding.
• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.

Bonus

• Experience with vector databases or LLM infrastructure.
• Prior B2B SaaS scaling experience.

Responsibilities of a Senior Software Engineer (Backend):

• You will be a guide in the entire application lifecycle including research, design, development, testing (dev owns quality), along with continuous deployment and delivery
• Lead design with a major focus on best user experience, performance, scalability and future expansion
• You will act as a mentor for less-experienced peers through both your technical knowledge and leadership skills to bring in continuous improvements and implement best practices.
• You will apply the latest technology thinking from our tech radar, adopt best design practices to solve complex problems and ensure our product is the best in usability.
• You will work directly with the CEO and the cross functional product teams, align on the needs of the products and operations.

• You have 4-6 Years of work experience in building highly-interactive applications using Java, Spring MVC, Spring JMS, Spring JDBC, Spring IOC, Spring Boot, MySQL, MiBatis, ReactJS, Java Script, jQuery, AWS, JMS and have knowledge on wide range of web technologies, tools and Frameworks.
• You have experience in working with Restful webservices

At least 4 years' experience as a Node.js developer.

Experience in Microservices

Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.

Mandatory experience in Postgres and MySql.

Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.

Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

• 2 - 6 years of software development experience in a professional environment
• 2.5 - 3 years of relevant experience in Node.js
• Experience in Android applications, directives, services etc.,
• Experience with Bootstrap 4.x+ (or internal framework)
• Experience in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript
• Able to integrate and use external (open source) libraries
• Develop high-performance and scalable APIs to serve clients.
• Experience in the creation of scalable RESTful APIs
• Experience in writing reusable, testable and efficient code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of well-written APIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communications, ability to learn quickly and a willingness to work and add value to the team
• Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Android, Node.js)
