Responsibilities:  

∙ Database Administration (PostgreSQL): 

∙ Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of PostgreSQL database systems.

∙ Develop and maintain database scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other database objects 

to support application development and data processing requirements. 

∙ Design and implement data models, database schemas, and indexing strategies to optimize database 

performance and support application functionality. 

∙ Perform data conversion and migration tasks, including data cleansing, transformation, and loading 

(ETL) processes, ensuring data integrity and consistency. 

∙ Collaborate with software developers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand database 

requirements and provide database solutions that meet business needs. 

∙ Conduct code reviews, performance analysis, and database optimization to ensure adherence to best 

practices and standards. 

∙ Document database designs, processes, and procedures, and provide training and knowledge transfer to 

junior team members. 

∙ SQL Query Optimization: 

∙ Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views to retrieve and 

manipulate data efficiently. 

∙ Analyze query execution plans, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to 

improve query performance. 

∙ Utilize database performance monitoring tools and profiling techniques to identify and resolve
