Manual QA Requirement: Manual QA Testers – Mobile Application Testing 2–3 Manual QA Testers to support an ongoing mobile application project. Key Requirements: ● 3–5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on mobile application testing (mandatory). ● Hands-on experience testing applications built on React Native. ● Basic understanding of Java-based microservices on the backend. ● Working knowledge of Detox (React Native testing framework) is preferred. ● Good to have: ○ Exposure to fintech, particularly with an understanding of trading or investment platforms. ○ Experience with Playwright (not mandatory). 

We are looking for a detail-oriented **QA / Software Tester (Fresher)** to join our development team. You will be responsible for testing applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring software quality before release. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who want to start a career in software testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities  

1. Test web and mobile applications for functionality and usability.  

2. Identify, document, and track software defects.  

3. Execute manual test cases and report results.  

4. Work with developers to fix issues and verify fixes.  

5. Perform regression and functional testing.  

6. Ensure the product meets quality standards before release.  

7. Assist in preparing test documentation and reports.  

Required Skills  

1. Basic understanding of software testing concepts.  

2. Knowledge of manual testing.  

3. Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.  

4. Familiarity with web or mobile applications.  

5. Basic knowledge of SQL or databases (optional).  

6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

1. Knowledge of any testing tool (Selenium, JIRA, etc.).  

2. Understanding of automation testing basics.  

3. Internship or academic project experience.

QA Engineer Roles & Responsibilities 

Your primary responsibility will be to run various tests from the test-suite on new software releases to ensure that it satisfies all specifications and requirements as well as free from any bugs. 

Once issues have been resolved, You will run additional tests to make sure the issues are resolved before the new release is pushed to production. 

1. Thoroughly testing new releases to find bugs or design issues. 
2. Identifying bugs in new releases and understanding how to resolve them
3. Creating issues for these bugs and with steps on how to re-produce them.
4. Ensuring that new software products are ready for consumer use
5. Working with development teams to prevent issues with new products

This person MUST have: 

- BE Computer Science, MCA or equivalent. 

- Experience testing IOT devices managed by cloud. 

- Manual testing experience and a desire to learn and work with the latest technologies. Web, Cloud and Mobile App testing. 

- Develop test plans, cases, and scripts; schedule and execute test cycles; contribute to testability & quality of software. 

- Reports all defects accurately; facilitate problem tracking and successful resolution; assess and communicate various risks involved and provide necessary assistance to engineers and stakeholders. 

- Basic knowledge of automation know-how [ API automation, Python] - Test to fail mindset, Solid test strategy experience, well versed with QA processes. - Hands on experience on Performance test angle.

- 40 hours a week (9 PM IST to 2 AM IST(10 hours in your suitable time) , Monday to Saturday).

• Develop detailed test strategy and test plans for various features at the functional and system level.
• Be a gatekeeper for the quality of any product going out in the market from Rapido including customer experiences.
• Integral members of SDLC right from product requirements gathering phase to design reviews till the delivery of the product.
• Maintain a staging environment to effectively verify and validate the products.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage by preparing a detailed capability matrix to map features to the functional requirements of the test plan and for defining the acceptance criteria.
• Effectively develop an automation to improve efficiency/productivity.
• Expertise in developing automation framework for mobile apps, web UI, APIs using appropriate open source tools like Appium, Selenium, SOAP UI, Rest Assured etc.
• Fluent with OOPS concepts and any one programming language like Java, Python etc.
• Cover all dimensions of Rapido’s product which includes features/functionality, scale/load, usability, and performance.
• Hands on experience in CI/CD driven test processes is an added benefit.
• Analyze defects to assess the severity and prioritize them for development to fix.
• Work with software developers to tune code and track all problem reports to closure. Analyze test results to ensure functionality and recommend appropriate action.
