Looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users

We are building a platform for millennial parents to surround them with personalised support at every step of their parenting journey. The vision is to become their trusted 24*7 buddy right from planning a baby to 12 years of a child.

The plan is to on-board 1 million users at a break-neck speed in the next 6 months using ingenious methods, both online & offline. To support the growth and build multiple features, we are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. The position reports to the Technology Head and based out of Bangalore.

Technology : PHP( CodeIgniter, Laravel etc ),OOPHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL

Responsibilities:

· Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers

· Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules

· Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

Requirement:

· Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks {such as Laravel, CodeIgniter etc depending on your technology stack}

· Understanding of synchronous behaviour of PHP

· Understanding of MVC design patterns

· Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3

· Understanding accessibility and security compliance

· Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions

· Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

· User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

· Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

· Familiarity with the limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds

· Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

· Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and manage highly trafficked, highly scalable web properties with PHP5 using Laravel/ZEND CodeIgniter/Yii/Symfony framework.
• Understand the specifications to define system requirements.
• Collaborate and communicate project updates and progress to team members and clients.
• Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document and deploy changes to the system.

Position: Associate Software Engineer

Profile : BE/MTech/BCA/MCA (2020 or 2021 Graduates with a minimum score of 50% or a CGPA Score of 6)

Location: Bangalore.

Must Have Skills:

• Knowledge of .NET Framework, ASP.NET and MVC 5
• Basic Knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, Web Services & WCF
• Certification in Dotnet is a must and any other certification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Writes high quality code & unit tests, builds, tests as per agreed timelines
• Participates in technical design and provides estimation
• Owns one or more small to medium features
• Becomes a go-to person in at least one area
• Communicates clearly and gets clarification upfront to minimize rework. Knows when to ask for help to unblock.
• Consistently follows and promotes SDLC best practices: Coding standard, testing, code reviews, code comments etc.
• Exhibit strong problem solving skills, helps other developers and demonstrates teamwork

Requirements:

• Understands detailed requirements and demonstrates excellent problem solving skills
• Deep understanding of software engineering practices, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Algorithms

• 4+ years of experience in product driven organization
• A Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering from a reputed institute
• Experience in Golang, RoR, Unity, ML or Python will be an added advantage

• Understand complex business problems and implement product features that are secure, scalable, robust and easy to implement and maintain.
• Take full ownership of product features to implement, provide bug fixes and write tests and tooling for those features to ensure they work well at cloud scale.

 Required skills:

• C#/ASP.NET/Javascript/MVC guru with the ability to understand complex domain problems and churn out a PoC quickly.
• A great communicator of ideas and solutions and a lateral thinker when faced with complex performance or production issues.
