Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers to write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
• Design robust, scalable and secure features.
• Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design.
• Ability to work independently on challenging compound problems as well as collaborating with other team members to solve major goals.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Present complex ideas and approaches in simple communicable terms across engineering and management and manage stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience being a senior engineer and working on end-to-end scalable solutions.
• Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as ReactJS, JQuery.
• Penchant to learn new technologies like NodeJS, Golang for relevant solutions.
• A firm grasp of MVC architecture.
• Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code.
• Good knowledge of relational databases. Working knowledge of Postgres/MySQL database.
• Test-driven development with RSpec, Capybara, Jasmine.

• Strong Expertise in CodeIgniter Framework.
• Sound knowledge of database designing and application architecture planning for Core PHP projects.
• Expertise in PHP, MVC Frameworks, and good technology exposure of CodeIgniter Open cart or any CMS added advantage.
• String core PHP Hands-on experience.
• Good Knowledge of PHP5, MySQL, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting it to the back-end.
• A good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX will be preferred.
• Prior experience in the payment gateway or education ERP domain is a plus.

• Develop, implement, and maintain applications developed around the Shopify/Shopify Plus platform.
• Knowledge of Ajax, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery is mandatory requirements.
• Knowledge for Wordpress Theme customization, Plugins installation.
• Answer various questions from our clients and attend the solution delivery meetings with the team.
• Contribute to quality control activities with the team.
• Take part in the improvement of standards within the Shopify practice.
• Creative and open to new ideas.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.

In this role, you will:

• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Integrate data storage solutions.

You may be a fit if you have:

• 2 – 4 years of experience in building PHP web frameworks such as Lavarel.
• Understand the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• A proficient understanding building rich UI & front-end technologies, such as JavaScript,

HTML5, and CSS3.

• Working knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
• Experience in using fundamental design principles for a scalable application.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

• Knowledge of Integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
• Understanding of creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL, Postgresql databases and their declarative query languages

• Must possess a fair, clear understanding of fundamentals and concepts of Magento 1/2, PHP.
• Must have strong experience in Magento Extension development.
• Write well-engineered source code that complies with accepted web standards.
• Strong experience of Magento Best Practices, including experience developing custom extensions and extending third party extensions.
• Thorough functional and code level knowledge of all Magento products and all relevant commerce technologies
• Good experience on Caching & Performance improvement.

Back End development of websites and applications using PHP,
AJAX and JS and their frameworks to create and integrate
functional web standard projects. Taking ready HTML/CSS files
from front end developers and executing the project based on the
logic and wireframes provided by designers
