Lead Unity3D Programmer

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes internals, control-plane development, and Golang-based microservices. If you enjoy building scalable infrastructure components and working with modern cloud-native technologies, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes controllers/operators and define new Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
• Develop REST and gRPC APIs for platform components and services.
• Contribute to Kubernetes management plane development and enhancements.
• Build and maintain microservices using Golang (1–2 years of hands-on experience required).
• Work with virtualization and container platforms such as KubeVirt, OpenShift, and similar technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Augment (nice to have).

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Kubernetes internals, especially controller/operator implementation.
• Experience defining and managing CRDs.
• Hands-on development experience with Golang microservices.
• Experience building and consuming REST and gRPC APIs.
• Exposure to virtualisation technologies (KubeVirt, OpenShift, etc.).
• Prior work on Kubernetes management plane components or similar distributed systems.

Good to Have

• Experience working with AI-driven development tools.
• Exposure to cloud-native environments, containers, and orchestration technologies.

Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based J2EE, JAVA applications.

Experience on Java Spring Framework is required.

Experience on Hibernate is required.

Experience on REST Services is required.

Object-oriented programming, design, and patterns.

Strong proficiency with:Relational database concepts and data modeling.

Good communication skills to interact with customer, understand their requirement, effectively record the requirement and implement the same.

We’re looking for Senior Software Engineers and he should be able to take a complex problem and work with product managers, devops and other team members to execute end to end.

Specific Responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop scalable cloud components that seamlessly integrates with on-premises systems.
• Challenge and redefine existing architecture or make 10x improvements in performance and scalability.
• Ability to foresee post-deployment design challenges, performance and scale bottlenecks.
• Hire and mentor junior engineers
• Doing code reviews, unit and performance testing of the code.
• Monitor and manage 3000+ nodes using modern DevOps tools and APM solutions.

The successful candidate will need:

• Demonstrated success designing and developing complex cloud based solutions
• Solid CS fundamentals with one or more areas of deep knowledge
• Experience with the following technologies: Java, SQL, Linux, Python, Nginx, Haproxy, BigQuery, HBase, New Relic, memcache, Elasticsearch, docker.
• Data driven decision process
• Relies on automation testing instead of manual QA
• Experience in working with Google cloud, AWS or Azure is preferred

We would prefer the candidate work from our Mumbai office for alteast first 6 months.

Requirements:

• 3 -7 years of software development experience.
• Good grasp on programming fundamentals including OOP, Design Patterns and Data Structures.
• Excellent analytical, logical and problem-solving skills.
• Software Development Engineer.
• Good understanding of complexities involved in designing/developing large scale systems.
• Strong system design skills.
• Experience in technologies like Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka etc.
• Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with common machine learning algorithms. In-depth knowledge is a plus.
• Experience of working with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive is a big plus.
• Ability to understand business requirements and take ownership of the work.
• Exhibit passion and enthusiasm for building and maintaining large scale platforms.

• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, algorithm design,
• Proficiency with Java
• 1+ years of experience contributing to architecture and design in a product setup
