Proshorts.ai is looking to hire young, dynamic and talented people for the front-end web development team at the Bangalore office. The company is building a video editing and video serving web application for the customer end-use. The company is looking to develop a web application in React.

Roles and Responsibilities:
● Develop High-Level Design and Low-Level Design for the web application
● Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following react.js workflows.
● Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
● Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
● Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
● You will be sharing feedback and brainstorming ideas with teams to improve the development process.
● Understand basic concepts of design for developing user-friendly applications.
● Stay up to date with the latest technologies.
● Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
● Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:
● Hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, ECMAScript (OOJS) and JSX
● Hands-on experience on Web development technology stack, HTML/JS/CSS and other web development libraries and frameworks is an added advantage
● Good familiarity with most of the ReactJS built-in and popular third-party frameworks, libraries, and accelerators
● Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
● Some basic understanding of the Agile development life-cycle;
● Basic understanding of Git, SVN, or other version control tools;
● Ability to write readable code, create documentation for existing code, and refactor previously written code
● Good analytical and critical thinking abilities

We are looking for a seasoned front-end developer to join our product team. This role requires you to be a tech-savvy contributor in translating the customer needs and user expectations into interactive web apps. You’ll be an exceptional problem solver and take responsible actions in ensuring the application is optimised both in technology and in delivering the best user experience.

Responsibilities- 

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating awesome interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules, and maintainability of the code.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.

Requirements- 

• 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert, or frontend engineer
• Sound knowledge in JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, CSS
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap, and Material UI
• Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console

• Knowledge of TDD frameworks mocha, chai, jest etc.
• Understanding of Typescript
• Understanding of ReactJS based frameworks like NextJS, Gatsby, etc.
• Understanding of REST API
• Passionate to create good design and usability

Skills Required:

• Deep understanding of React.js and its fundamentals, ideally including modern features like hooks
• Excellent understanding of TypeScript/Javascript including the OOP concept and how shadow DOM and DOM work
• Experience with widely used React.js state managers like Flux/Redux
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Webpack, Babel, NPM etc
• Knowledge of the overall browser rendering behaviour and measuring and optimising performance
• Strong hands-on experience with source code management systems like Git

-Proficiency with Vanilla JS ,HTML, BuildTools(Jenkins,/Go),ReactJs, and CSS.
-Linux/ MAC OS exposure is a must
