Senior FrontEnd Software Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable web applications, a deep understanding of both front-end technologies, and experience with cloud infrastructure. As a Front-end Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a workflow management system. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust and efficient applications that meet the needs of our users. Your expertise in ReactJS, MUI and API Integrations with the backend will be crucial in ensuring our system is intuitive, user-friendly, reliable and performant.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Front-End Components:

• Design, develop, and optimize user interfaces using React and ReactJS.
• Ensure a seamless and responsive user experience.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement best practices in UI/UX design. Cloud Integration:
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Utilize GCP services to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Implement cloud-based solutions for data storage, processing, and analytics. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to sharing team knowledge.
• Document development processes, coding standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Completed a master's/bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Strong experience with React, ReactJS and MUI.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
• Knowledge of front-end development tools and best practices.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Position:  React/Frontend Developer

Location: Chennai and Exp : 3 to 5 Yrs

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js or VueJs. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Should have recent experience with React projects (min. 2 years)
• Experience in VueJs is an added advantage
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with designers, product managers to collaboratively own the front-end layer for Vauld’s web and mobile applications.
• Architect, develop, maintain, and improve our front-end libraries.

Requirements:

• You have 5 years or more of front end development experience with expertise in designing and implementing high-performance web applications.
• You are aware of Javascript design patterns and can architect a fairly complex UI without feeling the need for a framework.
• You are capable of writing high-quality code that conforms to the standards and best practices in a particular language/framework.
• You have experience building a product using a mainstream library or framework.
• Experience in any of React/AngularJs/Vue js
• You have a deep understanding of javascript coding methodologies and can rightly judge/implement solutions to complex problems.
• You love to own end to end responsibility, starting from defining the problem statement (either yourself or alongside your peers), development (PoC if needed), testing, releasing in staging & then production environment, and finally monitoring.

Preferred:

• Previous work experience in product-based (B2B/B2C) startups and fintech firms.
• Experience working with Visualisation/graphs/gaming
• Experience building for mobile platforms
• Understands the cryptocurrency landscape
