Jr. Php Developer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Back-end Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that enhances workflow organization and automates various internal processes within the organization. The role involves continuous improvement of our software solutions to save man-hours and ensure overall organizational efficiency. Key tasks include development, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintenance of both new and existing programs.

Key responsibilities:

1)    Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code/flows that automate internal processes and improve workflow efficiency.

2)    Testing and Maintenance: Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and daily maintenance of created or integrated programs.

3)    Adherence to Standards: Follow preferred development methodologies and adhere to organizational development standards.

4)    Team work: To work closely with other team members to ensure the successful implementation of projects. Maintain clear and concise documentation of code, APIs, and software components to aid in knowledge sharing and future development.

5)    Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest developments in the Python, RPA ecosystem and engage in best practices of software engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

·        More than 4-8 years’ experience in PHP

·        Must have minimum 4 years work experience in Laravel framework

·        Knowledge and experience in: MySQL, JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML,CSS

·        Knowledge on Coding Standards, Design Patterns, and Best Practices

·        Has actual experience and understanding on Agile Software Development

·        Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

·        Able to mentor, collaborate and guide other team members

• 5+ years experience in PHP and Wordpress development, WordPress CMS Installation, theme customizations.
• Should possess strong knowledge of SEO, Secure sites, Wordpress, Web Design
• Good knowledge of WordPress development and life cycle (theme hierarchy, plugins, etc
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development. Experience in front-end technologies like HTML5,CSS3,Bootstrap4,JavaScript,PHP.
• Basic Knowledge of Core PHP, MySQL Database.
• Experience in designing and developing responsive design websites.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages. Payment Gateway integration for WooCommerce (eg: Paypal, Razorpay, etc).
• Ability to build and manage a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Write well designed, testable, scalable and efficient code and oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members
• Apply design principles to ensure code modularity and error handling at appropriate levels
• Communicate software requirements to development teams
• Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
• Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions and provide technological solution to it
• Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
• Design the overall structure of the platform and oversee programs to ensure the proper implementation of the architecture

Desired Skills and Experience

• 2-7years of relevant experience in an online start-up with a record of substantial achievements

in the specific role

• Strong programming foundation in PHP, MySQL, Oops Concepts and can develop core PHP based applications
• Must have worked on MVC frameworks – Laravel, CodeIgniter, Cake PHP or Zend.
• Experience with JavaScript and jQuery for producing AJAX applications.
• HTML5, CSS3, XML knowledge is mandatory
• Ability to make modifications to the systems with little or no interruption of service
• Solid exposure to API integrations and familiar with various design & architectural patterns
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
