About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in modern Java technologies, React, and NodeJS to design and build scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing microservices-based applications, designing APIs, and working with modern front-end frameworks. Experience with AI-enabled systems, LLM integrations, or intelligent automation platforms will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, React, and NodeJS.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Develop responsive and reusable front-end components using React.
• Work with Hibernate/JPA for database integration and persistence.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Develop event-driven applications and asynchronous processing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders.
• Participate in application architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best development practices.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms for deployment and monitoring.
• Explore and implement AI-driven development approaches, including LLM integrations and intelligent automation where applicable.

Design and develop frontend applications using Angular (v10+).

Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

Develop and manage MySQL databases including schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures.

Integrate front-end UI with backend services.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.

You are where our search ends, if you hold:

6 years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

Experience working with service-oriented architectures and web-based solutions.

Familiarity with common stacks.

Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e. g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).

Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e. g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e. g. Angular, React, Node.js ).

Familiarity with databases (e. g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e. g. Apache) and UI/UX design.

Experience working on Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban).

Interface.ai provides an Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) to FIs to automate calls and customer inquiries across multiple channels and engage their customers with financial insights and upsell/cross-sell.

Our IVA is transforming financial institutions’ call centers from a cost to a revenue center.

Our core technology is built 100% in-house with several breakthroughs in Natural Language Understanding. Our parser is built based on zero-shot learning that helps us to launch industry-specific IVA that can achieve over 90% accuracy on Day-1.

Many of them come from ML teams at Apple, Microsoft, and Salesforce in the US along with enterprise architects with over 20+ years of experience building large-scale systems. Our India team consists of people from ISB, IIMs, and many who have been previously part of early-stage startups.

Founders come from Banking and Enterprise Technology backgrounds with previous experience scaling companies from scratch to $50M+ in revenues.

As a SDE III, you will be :

1. Designing and implementing FullStack applications of interface.ai’s conversational AI platform and playing a significant role in evolving them.
