Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science/Electronics) or MCA
• Ideally 4-10 years experience in Backend development, using Java, Spring, Springboot,
• Experience in handling a team
• Willingness to be available outside of normal office hours.
• Demonstrating ability to work with a solution mindset approach.
• Shows the ability to prioritize, taking into consideration various alternate perspectives.

Role Responsibilities:

• Coding in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSON
• Documentation related to R&D activities (like Design Docs, Test Specs, Review Docs etc.)
• Unit Testing (for own code and for Function testing)
• Knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSON
• Basic practical experience in a J2EE framework (Springs & Hibernate)
• RDBMS Knowledge (Oracle database)
• Experience in application development on Windows and UNIX platform
• Good Analytical Skills and team player
• Basic knowledge of the software version control (Subversion / Git)
• Experience with JSON / REST/ SOAP web services.
• Development experience using Eclipse, Git, Maven, Junit
• Knowledge of UML

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain highly performant api-driven web applications on our stack (Angular, React, SASS, Java SpringBoot, Mulesoft).
• Design and implement REST APIs to industry/company standards
• Work with our amazing product design team to develop and iterate on user interfaces that bring simplicity to complicated financial data.
• Interact with engineering members across the organization to ensure consistency in engineering practices and foster active exchange of ideas
• We have development centers in Atlanta, Houston, New York City and India and the ability to collaborate across a global organization is a key skill.
• Perform peer code reviews. Review performance, security and flexibility of the code.

The Experience You Bring:

• 2+ years experienced in front-end frameworks, such as Angular and React
• 3+ years experience in back-end technologies, such as Node.JS, ExpressJS, or Java Springboot
• 1+ years experience with Mulesoft or API development
• Experience with core AWS services
• Experience working in an Agile team and environment
• Familiarity with software engineering support systems and tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, Gulp, Bower, Maven, Log4j
• Familiar with SSO solutions, such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID a plus

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• You have 2+ years* of experience using two or more development languages (Java, JavaScript, Ruby, C#, etc.) with experience in Object-Oriented programming
• You’re willing and able to commit to traveling up to 100% (back home on the weekends) across the US and Canada to help our clients solve their business problems
• You can write clean, high-quality code in a variety of languages and are also able to spot (and improve) bad code

The Junior/ Senior Software Engineer will be a member of the development team for Supply Chain Application module suite. The Supply Chain modules includes components at various layers, including server-side, integration, supply chain planning engines and user-interface. This individual will be responsible for participating in module development and providing technical assistance to junior members of the team.

Experience and Skills:

• 4-10 years of of experience in writing software
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Strong Object Oriented Programming Skills. Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Extensive knowledge of the Java programming language
• Understanding of software design patterns, J2EE components (EJB, JSP, Servlets), and XML
• Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle) and Object/Relational frameworks. Should be able to write SQL queries, procedures, triggers and do basic performance tuning.
• Experience with C++ is a plus.
• Functional knowledge of supply chain management domain.
• Prior experience in development or consulting with an enterprise software vendor – preferably in supply chain planning or forecasting area.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns & protocols, including SOAP, REST, JMS, EDI is a plus.
• Experience writing build & deployment scripts (e.g. Ant)
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, support
• Some experience with a scripting language such as Python or Ruby preferred
• Some experience with newer web client technologies such as AJAX, EXTJS preferred.

Essential Functions:

• Producing design documents based on a requirements document and participating in design reviews
