Spring Boot Developer with Banking Domain Experience

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Spring Boot Developer with a strong foundation in Java and a proven track record in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience and be passionate about building robust, scalable, and efficient applications using Spring Boot technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Spring Boot applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot framework.
• Integrate with various banking systems and third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented programming principles.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot framework and its components (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of banking domain concepts, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Experience with Hybris 6.x/ 1905/ 2005 with knowledge of Hybris B2C-ACCELERATOR/HYBRIS -B2B-ACCELERATOR, Hybris back- office, Hybris Frontend WCMS cockpit, product cockpit, Hybris core, Hybris Commerce, Hybris Search, Hybris OCC, Solr Customization  

Experience working on core Java, JSP/Servlets, JEE, Spring, Services (SOAP, REST), Design Patterns, Apache, Tomcat, Build Tools- Ant/Maven/Jenkins, SCM Tools - CVS/SVN/ GIT Hub • Knowledge of one or more modules HYBRIS-PIM, HYBRIS-PROMOTIONS, HYBRIS-OMS, HYBRIS -TRAVEL-ACCELERATOR 

Additional skills in SOA, ESB, JMS • Knowledge of high-quality professional software engineering practices for agile software development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.  

Experience in eCommerce/Hybris payment integration, 3rd Party integration development.  

Preferable to have development experience in Spartacus Hybris module. 

Preferable to have exposure to Azure cloud (Hybris CCV2)  

Fundamental knowledge of design patterns.  

Experience in communicating effectively with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features and technical designs  

Passionate about building great solutions 

Mentoring the team members to meet the clients needs and holding them accountable for high standards of delivery  

Willing to work in Shifts to support Production environment and Samsung.com Global eCommerce client requests.  

Being able to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and be able to apply these learnings in complex troubleshooting scenarios

3+ years of experience as a JAVA/J2EE technologies developer in delivering highly available and scalable applications in a cloud operating environment. - Expertise in Spring framework and equivalent. 

• Experience in developing Java Microservices using spring boot, docker, Kubernetes etc. 
• Programming expertise in Java, JavaScript; and familiarity with other languages.
