Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and Python ecosystems, with hands-on experience in modern web technologies, messaging systems, and cloud-native development using Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot framework
• Build robust web services and APIs using Python and Flask framework
• Implement event-driven architectures using NATS messaging server
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications in Kubernetes environments
• Develop microservices following best practices and design patterns

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Java with deep understanding of web technology stack
• Hands-on experience developing applications with Spring Boot framework
• Solid understanding of Python programming language with practical Flask framework experience
• Working knowledge of NATS server for messaging and streaming data
• Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes
• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design

Key aspects of this role:
• Maintain, update, and enhance ITSM environment including Incident, Request,
Problem, Change and Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, Service Portals,
SLAs, Discovery, and Integrations
• Participate in the implementation and configuration of other ServiceNow products
outside of ITSM to increase the adoption of the ServiceNow platform.
• Responsible for performing daily administration, issue resolution, and
troubleshooting of the ServiceNow platform.
Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
To be the right fit, you will need:
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development and
configuration.
• Proficient in developing, integrating and maintaining applications using ServiceNow
Platform technology and tools.
• Understanding of and experience working with IT Service Management processes
(Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLM, Service Catalog), PPM/ITBM
• Understanding of IT and business requirements with ability to develop, test, deploy
improvements, and update Manage and administer lists, filters, forms, platform
interfaces (to other data sources) and the data within tables, import sets and the
CMDB.
• Preferably certified in ServiceNow

• Proven hands-on Software Development experience
• Proven working experience in Java development
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Experience in the Spring Framework
• Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• SDLC development of product features, enhancements, UAT/production issues.
• Work with development team members for development of product features.
• Client-side and server-side development.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and application.
• Write/ design product APIs and write unit test cases.
• Follow standard agile scrum practices for software development.
• Peer review, pull requests, code refactoring and managing source code per standards and ensure quality. 

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of software development experience using Microsoft .Net technology stack.
• Strong experience in .Net, .Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, SQL server, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
• Experience in using unit test framework e.g., xUnit, Moq.
• Experience in Web API development.
• Experience in Agile / SCRUM development process.
• Good to have experience in Domain driven design development and Microservice architecture.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Good to have knowledge and experience in ABP.IO framework, Angular 8+, PostgreSQL and AWS cloud service and CI/CD process.

Position – Software Engineer

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop code for system changes or new modules within company and architecture according to specifications and standards
• Participates and contribute in formal and informal code reviews
• Prepares and executes accurate unit test plans, test data, and test modules and scripts
• Documents code changes and unit test results per Best Practices
• Performs production support and troubleshooting and maintenance (defect resolution)

Required Skills:

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience
• Expert level understanding of all phases of SDLC, preferably with Agile methodology.
• Strong coding experience with Java, J2EE, SQL. Strong experience in java frameworks, especially spring framework.
• Solid experience developing with SQL queries, stored procedures, views and triggers for Oracle databases.
• Understanding of multi-tier architecture, Web based development, and Services Oriented Architecture. Experience coding REST and SOAP services.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Able to step into complex situations and take responsibility.
• Solid knowledge working with version control systems like bitbucket and build tools like maven.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Able to guide junior developers.
• Ability to learn and master internal frameworks quickly.
• Deep knowledge in writing complex unit tests.
• XML and knowledge of generating Java data binding code from XSDs
• Knowledge of Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic and IBM MQ
• Experience with Agile methodology.
