Job description:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Java application phases, code, and software
• Work as part of a software development team
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code per specifications and test to ensure designs are in compliance with the specifications
• Analyze user requirements to determine how to translate into Java
• Debug and resolve technical issues
• Develop documentation to track

• Experience in implementation of NMS/EMS applications and good understanding of FCAPS functionalities
• Proficient in Java/J2EE, SpringBoot, SpringCloud, Kafka and REST webservices
• Experience in implementation of micro-services based applications
• Experience in any of the rule engine like Drools and workflow creation like JBPM, Camunda
• Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases, DB schema designing and database accessing using Hibernate JPA 
• Experience with SNMP, Netconf, device management, inventory management
• Hands on experience in Wildfly/Jboss App server 
• Experience in dev-ops tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Proficient in Angular, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Typescript, ES6 
• Good to have Micro Frontend Architecture exposure
• Experience with tools like Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar, JaCoCo, Karma, Jasmine
• Scripting using Shell, Python, etc
• Must be involved in customer interactions for requirement gathering and solution designing discussions

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field
• 8+ years of relevant work experience, 
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages like Java, C/C++, Scala, Python
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure or other public cloud technologies is a plus
• Experience working with two or more from the following: Unix/Linux environments, Windows environments, distributed systems, networking, developing large software systems, file systems, storage systems, hypervisors, databases and/or security software development.

Our objective is to bring the simplicity of Rubrik’s on-prem data protection and management offerings to our customers in the cloud through a solution designed from ground up to be highly scalable, available & secure and yet optimized to minimize our customer’s cloud costs. We achieve this by taking a cloud-first approach to design - leveraging technologies built for the scale, elasticity and automation needs of the cloud; and deploying on our brand new SaaS platform called Polaris.

Recently we have :-

• Built policy based backup and recovery for Virtual Machines in AWS, Azure and GCP and managed databases in AWS.

• Built features like granular file recovery leveraging managed Kubernetes Service in AWS for elastic compute
