About the Position
We are looking for a passionate and experienced software engineer to join our team at Mumbai. In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to take ownership of developing user facing applications and features in an agile manner. You will design and implement scalable and performant front-end solutions from scratch, while also taking a hard look at the existing ones.
What you will do at QI?
- Design, develop and deliver new user-facing apps and feature and improve existing ones

Basic Job requirements
- 2 years + work experience in a similar role
- Strong experience in HTML5, CSS, DOM and front-end tooling ecosystem (Gulp,Grunt, Webpack)
- Excellent concepts and command over JavaScript
- Strong concepts and commercial experience in Vue.js
- Solid foundation in software development ( algorithm design, data structure, SDLC)
- Good concepts of unit testing and automation testing for UI components
- Good understanding of web app performance including Google Core Web Vitals metrics.

The Role
We’re looking for a React.js and Node.js engineer, with strong js fundamentals to join our team. We ideally hire engineers who are comfortable across the full stack, but we know you'll have a preference about being on the front- or back-end. As long as you're happy to work on both sets of tasks and willing to learn – you should carry on reading!

About you - Essential skills
● You have a BE / BTech or equivalent experience
● You’re a software engineer.
● Expert knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and browser technologies.
● Expert understanding of React.js or other comparable framework and JavaScript testing frameworks and test-driven development.
● Working understanding of Cloud Native architecture, containerisation, Docker, AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps culture.
● Practical experience in the use of leading engineering practices and principles.

You Should Have:

Level 3 Contractor-to-Fulltime-Programmer Role:
Must have 1-2 years (ideally 12 to 30 months) of post-collegiate professional programming experience at a top SaaS company in React, Typescript, Javascript working within Visual Studio Code and Yarn, leveraging superior techniques with Routing, Components, State, and Props to deliver elegant consumer applications based on dynamic data.
Ability to translate user story completely into exceptional functionality that consistently meets acceptance criteria and delights users. Ability to convert complex workflows into elegant experiences highly prized.

Anticipated first year will be entirely working from home given COVID as Level 3 Contractor, and upon completion of first anniversary will be eligible for sign-on bonus as full time employee. The Java/Backend Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of Bytemark’s backend APIs. This person utilizes their knowledge of Java development & web technologies as an integral part of the software development team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and deliver highly scalable and reliable APIs
