Java Developer

Required Skills & Experience:

 2+ year’s hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Springboot, Junit, Web Services, and Design

Patterns.

 Exposure to GIT, Maven, Docker, Jenkins, YAML/JSON, Open API Contract - Swagger2.0,

and Postman.

 Familiar with Microservice architecture, Kafka, Kubernetes, and REST concepts.

 Hands-on experience on Postgres/ PSql or any other SQL database

 Knowledge about Elasticsearch, NodeJS, and ReactJS is plus

 Excellent Problem Solving Skills and Quick Learning Abilities

 Experience in Product development will be a positive

Job Description:

 Complete ownership of the modules assigned.

 Design, Code, Writing junit Test cases & Release.

 Ensure projects are designed within approved architectural standards

 Lead Code reviews and implement best coding standards.

 Lead engagements with Clients.

About the role:

You will own a functional area - from product conception to its delivery to customers. You are expected to design and code independently in multiple tech components related to your functional area. You must also develop a deep understanding of non-functional requirements, such as reliability and availability, scale, horizontal scalability, etc. over time to make tech stack decisions accordingly. You are expected to actively mentor junior engineers. You own

the codebase quality.

• Strong experience with Java 8, Spring and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data,
• Working experience in Microservices

• Strong understanding of functional/reactive programming, OOP, design
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

What you’ll need

• B.Tech or M.Tech equivalent with at least 3 years of experience
• Deep expertise in at least one programming language & tech stack.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, ability to apply design patterns, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces
• Experience in building data-driven web application design and development is a plus
• Good understanding of multiple tech solutions and ability to pick the correct one for the given situation
• Prior work experience in an agile environment or continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI or CD)
• Ability and experience in designing high-level software designs of the scalable system, taking NFR (non-functional requirement) into consideration

• Work on building scalable backend platform for customer & seller apps, brands platform, demand generation platform, supply chain & logistics platform, credit platform and several cross platform software components
• Participate in the process to fundamentally change the food and grocery ecosystem in India, and impact billions of people through technology, mobile, and data science

Requirements:

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has-

• BE/BTech degree in Computer Science from a top engineering school
• 1-5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong problem solving skills and strong command on object oriented design, data structures, algorithms and other computer science fundamentals.
• Strong coding skills - professional experience in developing production-quality software in Java/Python
