What you need to have:

Key Responsibilities:
 Contributes to design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, evaluating, modifying, deploying, and documenting software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end user applications
 Function as an active member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
 Participate in code reviews and automated testing
 Debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation
 Support and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
 Automate deployments in test or production environments
 Explores new automation techniques to refine the agility, speed and quality of engineering initiatives and efforts
 Defines test conditions based on the requirements and specifications provided. Takes part in reviews of own work and handles work efficiently. Skills & Qualifications:
 5+ years of software development experience in Java.
 Java 8, JBPM, Security, Microservices, API, Gateway, spring boot.
 Understanding of Agile or other rapid application development methods, object-oriented design, exposure to design and coding across one or more platforms and languages
 Experience in developing REST APIs and building Microservices.
 Strong hands-on experience with databases (SQL & no-SQL)
 Solid understanding of data structures, Algorithms & Design Patters will be a plus
 Exposure to methods relating to application design, software development and automated testing
 Ability to understand and use data structures and associated components
 Understands the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
 Familiar with infrastructure technologies and components
 Learns and applies new technologies and techniques. Keeps up to date on current research and technology in the industry
 Recognizes the importance of collaboration to achieve objectives. Influences team members with creative changes and continuous improvement.
 Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem solving and adaptive communication
 Ability to learn and deep dive into new technology and business domains, question status quo and think outside of the box.
 Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent training/certification, or relevant work experience.

-Must have experience in core Php.

-Proficiency in Php and Php based MVC frameworks like laravel.

-Good knowledge of the OOPs concepts

-Development of Php based web application

-Development of Php based APIs

-Contribute to a backend web application with clean, portable, well-documented code

-Work closely with a team to ensure the successful front end

-Taking static HTML/CSS frontend code and integrating with custom Php website and web app

-On time delivery of the projects

-Able to work in a team as well as individually.

We are Civil Maps Civil Maps, provider of 3D mapping technology for fully autonomous vehicles, has raised a $6.6 million seed funding round from Ford Motor Company, Motus Ventures, Wicklow Capital, StartX Stanford and Yahoo cofounder Jerry Yang’s AME Cloud Ventures. Civil Maps’ mission is to make it possible for fully autonomous vehicles (SAE Levels 4-5) to drive anywhere smoothly and safely. Through artificial intelligence and vehicle-based local processing, Civil Maps converts sensor data into meaningful map information built specifically to direct fully autonomous vehicles. About the Opportunity This is an opportunity to work on some of the most exciting problems in the autonomous vehicle industry. Civil Maps is looking for a developer to grow its backend infrastructure. You will be interacting with a completely custom-made distributed computing framework, handling terabytes and petabytes of machine vision data, and millions of requests from robotic platforms. In our interdisciplinary teams, you will get acquainted with the many facets of 3D map creation: data collection, geospatial registration, feature extraction, auditing. Qualifications 6+ years of software development experience in the below technologies. Solid understanding of JavaScript prototypes, callbacks, promises, performance issues. Experience designing and using REST services which can scale horizontally. Experience with Node.js and Express. Experience with unit testing, automation and validation frameworks. Experience with NoSQL databases (data model design), MongoDB or similar. Experience with Identity Management and Security (SSL protocols, data encryption, user authentication, authorization services). Experience with OAuth. Experience with messaging and caching frameworks. Experience with Linux based operating systems. Experience building applications in a cloud environment (ideally AWS). Experience with C++, Python is a plus
