Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate Territory Sales Manager with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of agricultural products. The ideal candidate will manage the entire territory, developing relationships with farmers, distributors, and channel partners from the ground up.

📈 Key Responsibilities:

• Sales: Drive sales by onboarding farmers, distributors, and channel partners within the designated territory.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and channel partners; act as the primary point of contact for financial matters.
• Demand Generation: Actively participate in early morning meetings focused on generating demand.
• Daily Review: Attend nightly meetings to track progress and performance.
• Collections: Ensure timely collection of payments from channel partners.

📃 Requirements:

• BSc / MSc in Agriculture
• 2 to 4 years of experience in agri-inputs or micro-irrigation
• Strong understanding of:
• Credit periods
• Channel and dealer margins
• Distributor networks and credit limits
• Hands-on experience in direct farmer interactions
• Solid commercial acumen and ability to work independently in a field-driven environment

Carsome’s Data Department is on the lookout for a Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist who has a strong passion in building data powered products.

Data Science function under the Data Department has a responsibility for standardisation of methods, mentoring team of data science resources/interns, including code libraries and documentation, quality assurance of outputs, modeling techniques and statistics, leveraging a variety of technologies, open-source languages, and cloud computing platform. 

You will get to lead & implement projects such as price optimization/prediction, enabling iconic personalization experiences for our customer, inventory optimization etc.

Job Descriptions

• Identifying and integrating datasets that can be leveraged through our product and work closely with data engineering team to develop data products.
• Execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact across functions such as operations, finance, logistics, marketing. 
• Identify, prioritize, and design testing opportunities that will inform algorithm enhancements. 
• Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy.
• Unlock insights by analyzing large amounts of complex website traffic and transactional data. 
• Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with data analytics engineers.

Technical Requirements

• Expertise in model design, training, evaluation, and implementation ML Algorithm expertise K-nearest neighbors, Random Forests, Naive Bayes, Regression Models. PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, deep learning expertise, tSNE, gradient boosting expertise, regression implementation expertise, Python, Pyspark, SQL, R, AWS Sagemaker /personalize etc.
• Machine Learning / Data Science Certification

Experience & Education 

• Bachelor’s in Engineering / Master’s in Data Science  / Postgraduate Certificate in Data Science.

In this role, you will be leading a motivated sales team and take complete ownership of sales. Your will:

1. Drive 2-3X growth in revenue every 6 months through people and world class sales practices
2. Drive 3-4X conversions from current channels and optimize conversion percentage from the current lead flow
3. Come up with Product Pricing & Product Innovation to multiply revenues.
4. Drive growth of sales team from 50 to 200 in 6-12 month duration by hiring top class talent.
5. Design industry beating incentive structures, sales challenges (monthly/weekly), compensation plans, etc
6. Set a high-performance culture, energy, and cohesiveness so that sales teams are working with high energy
7. Constantly mentor, coach, and train team leads.

Competencies:

• Demonstrated experience of driving top results in B2C & B2B Sales with 50+ crore annual targets.
• Experience in handling a sales team with 100-500 associates, leads, and managers.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong mastery of written and verbal English.
• Highly self-motivated, able to work with a target-driven mindset.
• Minimum 6+ years experience in similar roles in education and related industries.
• MBA from Tier 1,2 institutes (ISB, IIM, XLRI, BITS, etc) preferred.

• Kotlin is strongly preferred
• Experience with clean architecture and MVVM
• Experience with Jetpack Libraries ( Navigation, Paging, Room, Data Binding)
• Experience with Dependency Injections (Dagger2)
• Experience with Rx Java, Rx Android & Co-routines
• Practical understanding of Continuous Integration and Delivery

• Exposure to After Sales Business Domain is highly preferred.
