Job description:

Job Title: Shopify Developer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Shopify Developer with 2–3 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Shopify theme customization, API integrations, and frontend development, with a good understanding of backend processes.

Responsibilities:-

Backend Development

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js, Vue.js, or TypeScript.
• Work with Shopify Admin & Storefront APIs (REST & GraphQL).
• Implement OAuth authentication, webhooks, and background processes.
• Integrate third-party services (CRM, ERP, and payment gateways).
• Ensure backend performance, scalability, and security.
• Manage Git-based version control and deployment processes.

Frontend Development

• Customize and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with React.js or Polaris.
• Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX best practices.
• Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
• Maintain frontend performance and accessibility standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Shopify development.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL).
• Hands-on experience with Shopify theme customization.
• Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Vue.js, or TypeScript is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git, Shopify CLI, and deployment tools.
• Experience with OAuth, webhooks, and third-party API integrations.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advance Licence & DGFT Compliance

 Apply, monitor, and close Advance Authorisations, EPCG, and LUT

Bonds.

 Maintain up-to-date records for Customs, DGFT, and Bank obligations.

 Ensure timely submission of documents for licence redemption and

audits.

2. Purchase & Imports

 Handle procurement of APIs, intermediates, chemicals, solvents, and lab

materials (domestic & international).

 Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective

sourcing.

 Prepare import documentation (Bill of Entry, CHA coordination, landing

cost analysis).

 Maintain vendor database and track supplier performance.

3. Export Documentation & Coordination

 Prepare and verify export documents: Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping

Bills, RODTEP, Drawback claims, BRCs, and COO.

 Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, banks, and customers to ensure

smooth export operations.

 Follow up with customers for documents, payments, and compliance

requirements.

 Maintain statutory export records for audits and government

submissions.

Qualifications & Experience

 Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce / Science / Management.

 Diploma / Certification in Export-Import Management or International

Tradepreferred.

 8–10 years of experience in API / Chemical / Pharma industry with hands-

on exposure to DGFT, Customs, Purchase, and Export Documentation.

 Strong working knowledge of ERP/SAP, MS Office, DGFT/ICEGATE, and

banking documentation portals.

Skills & Competencies

 In-depth understanding of export-import regulations, pharma compliance,

and customs laws.

 Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.

 Strong attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

 Good interpersonal skills for cross-department coordination.

 Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Node.js Developer Responsibilities:

• Node.js backend development experience and Vue js frontend development experience.

• 7+ years of hands-on programming experience in building data-driven REST APIs, services & platforms using advanced Java frameworks like Spring, Redis, Node.js etc. with deep focus on integration & scale.
• We also look for hands-on experience with Mysql, Elasticsearch (or Solr) and Nosql stores.
• Our evaluation starts with focus on computer science fundamentals, data structures & algorithms.
• You will have been learning new technologies every week and prefer folks who can use golang/rust for backend development and are familiar with equivalent data stores, index stores and pub-sub technologies.
