Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Recruiter to oversee end-to-end recruitment operations for our US Staffing division, managing both IT and Non-IT requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in W2 recruitment, vendor management, client coordination, and team leadership. This role involves leading a team of 5 recruiters, ensuring timely delivery of qualified candidates, optimizing submission quality, and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 5 US IT and Non-IT Recruiters to meet daily, weekly, and monthly hiring targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching to enhance recruiter productivity and quality of submissions.
- Allocate job requirements across the team, balancing workloads to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Provide continuous guidance on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and client communication.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the recruitment team.
2. Recruitment & Sourcing
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for W2 candidates across multiple domains including IT (Software Developers, Cloud Engineers, Data Analysts, Network Engineers, etc.) and Non-IT (Administrative, Finance, HR, Logistics, and Operations) roles.
- Utilize job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) and internal databases to source qualified candidates.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure cultural fit, technical competency, and employment eligibility (Work Authorization – US Citizens, GC, H1B, EAD, TN, OPT, CPT, etc.).
- Negotiate compensation packages, confirm W2 hourly rates, and manage onboarding coordination.
- Prepare and submit high-quality candidate profiles and summaries to clients or Account Managers.
3. Client & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client requirements and submission updates.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Delivery Leads to understand client expectations, role priorities, and SLA commitments.
- Manage multiple client relationships, ensuring consistent communication, submission feedback, and delivery excellence.
- Handle escalations related to candidate submissions, feedback delays, or offer negotiations professionally and efficiently.
- Work with preferred vendors and subcontractors to expand sourcing reach and build long-term partnerships.
4. Compliance & Process Management
- Ensure all hiring practices adhere to US employment laws and company policies (W2, C2C, 1099 compliance).
- Maintain proper documentation of candidate credentials, communication records, and submission details in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Drive process improvements for faster turnaround times, better quality control, and enhanced candidate experience.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as submittal-to-interview ratio, interview-to-offer ratio, and offer acceptance rates.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on team performance, client submissions, and placements to management.
- Track open positions, submission pipelines, and closures using recruitment dashboards.
- Participate in internal review meetings with leadership to align recruitment goals with business objectives.
- Identify trends in client requirements and suggest strategies to strengthen the talent pipeline.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of W2 recruitment process (benefits, taxes, rate negotiations, compliance).
- Proven experience hiring for both IT and Non-IT clients across diverse industries.
- Excellent command over job portals and sourcing tools (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn).
- Deep understanding of Boolean search strings, ATS management, and candidate database mining.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
