Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Python Developer based in Gurugram. The Python Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain efficient back-end components, APIs, and systems that support the company's platform. This role requires a candidate with 2–4 years of hands-on project experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and comprehensive knowledge of Python programming.
• Hands on project experience of at least 2+ years is mandatory.
• Experience in Software Development with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and principles.
• Experience with Django Framework is Mandatory.
• Familiarity with working on Databases, including designing, querying, and optimizing database performance.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail in coding and debugging processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile development environment.
• Understanding of front-end technologies and their integration with back-end services is beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 15–20 days will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark and distributed computing frameworks.
• Implement ETL processes and integrate data from structured and unstructured sources into cloud data warehouses.
• Work across Azure or AWS cloud ecosystems to deploy and manage big data workflows.
• Optimize performance of SQL queries and develop stored procedures for data transformation and analytics.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business teams to ensure reliable data availability and quality.
• Maintain documentation and implement best practices for data architecture, governance, and security.

⚙️ Required Skills

• Programming: Proficient in PySpark, Python, and SQL, MongoDB
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or AWS Glue/Redshift.
• Data Engineering Tools: Familiarity with Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Data Warehousing: Strong knowledge of designing and working with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, or Redshift.
• Data Modeling: Experience in dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schema, and data lake architecture.
• CI/CD & Version Control: Exposure to Git, Terraform, or other DevOps tools is a plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications in Azure/AWS are highly desirable.

Role Description

• Operate as an expert in the data ecosystem, with deep knowledge of 3rd party data providers, publisher and supply direct relationships, and WPP companies

• Find and understand new and emerging technologies; bring new ideas and perspectives back into R&D and the business

● Generating a pool of prospects by identifying the need for up-skilling depending on the student’s area of interest.

● Helping prospective students with detailed information about the programs offered through phone & creating a strong pipeline.

• Have an understanding of different hosting products such as Shared,  Reseller, VPS, Dedicated Servers and addons like sitelock, codeguard,  SSL etc. 
• Proficient in handling a variety of web hosting related issues 
• Ability to take ownership and work independently, handle multiple  priorities, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
