The Role

We're building a recommendation engine that surfaces the right products to the right player at the right moment inside our in-game store. A core challenge: we have limited in-app behavioural data today, so the system must rely heavily on external market signals to make great recommendations from day one.

As our first Data Engineer, you will own the data infrastructure that makes this possible. You'll build the pipelines that collect, process, and serve these signals into our real-time ranking system.

This is a foundational hire. The entire recommendation engine—from Deal Quality Scores to seasonal trends—depends on the pipelines you build.

What You'll Do

• Own external data pipelines—scrapers for Flipkart/Amazon bestseller rankings, PriceHunt/Smartprix for price benchmarking, Google Trends API for brand and category demand signals
• Build the Deal Quality Score pipeline—a daily batch job that computes a competitiveness score for every product in our catalogue, stored in Redis for sub-millisecond lookup at serving time
• Maintain a seasonal and festive calendar—structured data store for trend overlays (IPL, Diwali, back-to-school, etc.)
• Design and own the in-store event schema in ClickHouse that will power behavioural cohorts as in-app data accumulates
• Build ETL infrastructure (S3 + Spark/Glue) for longer-horizon trend and market data
• Own data quality and freshness SLAs—you are responsible when a signal the reco engine depends on breaks silently

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of data engineering experience, ideally at a startup or product company
• Strong Python—you write clean, production-grade pipeline code, not just notebooks
• Experience building and maintaining web scrapers or data collection pipelines at scale
• Hands-on experience with a workflow orchestrator—Airflow, Prefect, or equivalent
• Solid SQL; experience with ClickHouse or another OLAP database is a strong plus
• Familiarity with Redis as a serving layer—you understand TTL, key design, and cache invalidation
• Comfortable with AWS—S3, Glue, ECS; you can set up infra without needing DevOps help
• You care about data quality—you monitor pipelines, set up alerts, and feel responsible when something breaks

Strong Plus (Nice to Have)

• Experience with e-commerce or marketplace data—price intelligence, product catalogues, category taxonomy
• Familiarity with recommender system data patterns
• Experience with Spark or distributed processing for larger datasets
• Prior work on gaming or consumer mobile products

We are looking for a skilled MongoDB Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain client database systems within our services organization. The MongoDB DBA will be responsible for managing day-to-day database operations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of database environments. This role requires working closely with clients, stakeholders, and teams to resolve issues, implement changes, and deliver database solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage MongoDB EA on-premise databases for applications, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Implement and maintain MongoDB database clusters, including replica sets and sharded clusters, ensuring data distribution and fault tolerance.
• Perform regular database performance tuning and optimization to maximize query efficiency and reduce response time.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and troubleshoot MongoDB database issues, including performance bottlenecks, query optimization, and replication problems.
• Execute and support version upgrades and migrations.
• Document database configurations,and troubleshooting steps to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
• Provide guidance and troubleshooting support on MongoDB
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on issue status.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a MongoDB Database Administrator, with a focus on setting up and managing MongoDB databases.
• Strong understanding of MongoDB architecture, including replica sets, sharded clusters, and data distribution.
• Proficiency in MongoDB database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Experience with MongoDB backup and recovery strategies, including point-in-time recovery and disaster recovery procedures.
• Knowledge of MongoDB security features and best practices for securing MongoDB databases.
• Familiarity with MongoDB monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as MongoDB Cloud Manager, Ops Manager, or third-party solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex database issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• MongoDB certifications (e.g., MongoDB Certified DBA) are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed QC of 2D engineering drawings with a strong focus on accuracy, standards, and manufacturability.
• Validate dimensions, tolerances, GD&T symbols, views, callouts, and BOM elements.
• Cross-check drawings against 3D CAD models and identify mismatches.
• Flag design or annotation errors and guide drafters on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ASME/ISO standards and internal guidelines.
• Develop and refine QC checklists, SOPs, and quality frameworks.
• Collaborate with design, drafting, and automation teams to improve quality.
• Maintain QC reports and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Must-Have Skills

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 5–12 years of experience reviewing mechanical drawings in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, tooling, or precision engineering.
• Strong command of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and engineering drawing standards.
• Ability to interpret 3D CAD models in SolidWorks/Creo/NX or similar tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Worked with Plastic components and parts
• ASME Certified with strength in GD&T concepts.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Interior Designer/ Designer sales associate, located on-site in Bengaluru. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing creative solutions for interiors, working with clients to identify and define their needs, creating designs, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
