Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Jr. Programmer Analyst with 2 years of hands-on experience in Python development and a strong understanding of software development principles. The ideal candidate should have experience with Odoo ORM, PostgreSQL, and API integration. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain applications using Python (Pandas, NumPy, psycopg2).

Implement multi-threading and multi-processing where required.

Work on Odoo ORM, customizing and optimizing the application architecture.

Integrate third-party APIs and ensure smooth data flow between systems.

Optimize code for performance and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.

Write efficient SQL queries and manage PostgreSQL databases.

Utilize Git for version control and contribute to CI/CD processes.

Work in a Linux environment for software development and deployment.

Support the team in product development from concept to deployment.

Technical Requirements (Must Have):

Strong proficiency in Python 3, especially:

Pandas, NumPy, Multi-threading, Multi-processing, psycopg2, API Integration

Code optimization techniques.

Experience with Odoo ORM and understanding of its architecture

Experience in FastAPI / Flask.

Proficiency in PostgreSQL and writing complex SQL queries

Familiarity with Git, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Comfortable working on Linux OS.

Experience with Agile software development methodology.

Exposure to product development lifecycle.

Good to Have:

Basic knowledge of Docker.

Advanced proficiency with Linux.

Understanding of stock and crypto markets, especially candlestick patterns.

·        All 5 days WFO, UK Shift

·        Good end to end SDLC project delivery experience.

·        Strong development experience using Microsoft 365 SharePoint (preferred but not limited) Online/On premises and Power platforms.

·        Able to create features, process documents, use cases, use stories, technical specifications, and mapping documents required on the project.

·        Strong experience in design and development of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts, libraries, and extensions.

·        Able to create features, process documents, use cases, use stories, technical specifications, and mapping documents required on the project.

·        SharePoint migration and customization experience using jQuery.

·        Good knowledge on Power Apps, Power Automate, Canvas, Model driven and Dataverse.

·        Good knowledge of Microsoft and other 3rd party products (e.g., Azure, Jira, Outlook etc.) integration.

• Gathering business and functional requirements.
• Developing requirements documents: goal model, functional modeling, business process, customer interactions/wireframes; writing high-level user requirements (Epics and User Stories) and Process flows/analysis in JIRA
• Preparing use cases and formal requirements documentation.
• Analyzing and simplifying the requirement scenarios and be able to write prerequisites, Acceptance Criteria. Work closely with the business and technology to gather & write end to end business testing requirements and acceptance criteria.  
• Ensuring that releases are getting completed as per timeline and quality by working closely with the product delivery team and keeping daily track of progress.  
• Coordinate UAT activities prior to new product releases and client onboarding events including tracking of defects and progress of resolution.
• Escalation of issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to audit, SLA and operational standards.
• Demonstrations of new functionality to business and technology users.  
• Work in tandem with the Documentation team to produce user manual and system documents.

• Acting as a liaison between the technology department and other business units.
• Working on RFI or RFP proposals. Participating in process studies or pre-sales process of responding to RFI, RFP, and proposals.
• Leading business and technical analysis sessions to support new development efforts to meet current and projected business needs.
• Quickly understanding the business issues and data challenges of clients organization and industry.
• Providing expertise on the system's capabilities/limitations as it relates to business goals.
• Preparing impact and opportunity assessments regarding the cost/benefit of proposed projects.
• Aligning stakeholders on business requirements, system requirements, program functions, and strategy.

• 4 + years of hands-on experience with software applications as a BA
• Proficient with tools like Jira, Confluence, Wiki, Ms-Word, Excel, and Visio, etc. 
• Have a good experience of the Agile Process(SCRUM) 
• Can validate, refine and optimize solution option models, Through analysis of options, can select the option with the greatest business benefit bearing in mind the customer's & product objectives
• Can form a recommendation or recommendations, with justification, to the decision making authority/s, Applies effective influencing strategies to enable Decisions.

•  The Analyst will work with our Quant Research team and will assist in projects to improve stock selection, portfolio construction or implementation.
•  Main goals for the candidate would be around developing smart beta index portfolios.
•  Research on topics specific to quant trading, including AI/ML, statistical arbitrage, momentum, mean-reversion, factor investing and applications of statistics and econometrics models.
