Roles and Responsibilities

1. Ability to work on diverse backend stack such as Node JS, Java, Express JS
2. Ability to work on diverse frontend stack such as React JS, Angular 6/7/8/9, HTML5, CSS3
3. Ability to deliver quick POC’s using cutting edge technologies.
4. Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
5. Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
6. Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications. Analysing and resolving technical and application problems.
7. Ability to debug application.
8. Should have complete knowledge on developing RESTful Services.
9. Should be able to also work in agile development methodology.

Competency Requirements

1. Experience in NodeJS, Java and development using AngularJS / ReactJS
2. Experience in front end frameworks such as Angular.js, React.js, Bootstrap, Foundation etc
3. Experience in client/server application development
4. Knowledge of agile development methodologies
5. Knowledge of unit testing theory
6. Knowledge of AWS cloud
7. Experience in Java, Python and Go will be added advantage

Overall experience 6+ years and relevant at least 2+ years in Golang with Java

● Strong design and architectural experience in building various highly-scalable and

highly-available products

● Strong understanding of the SDLC Activities which include Analysis, Design, Development,

Testing, Deployment and Post-Production Support etc.

● Proficiency in at least one server side framework for languages preferably Go Lang

● Experience working on NoSQL & SQL Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB,

Redis etc

● Deep Dive, problem-solving, RCA and systematic thinking to reach the cause of issues

● Able to work independently and multi-task effectively

● Program at a system level and able to manage service stability

● Excellent experience maintaining, scalable, extensible code

● Methodical in maintaining up to date documentation

● Metric-driven mindset and obsessive about ensuring clean coding practices

● Preferred experience in product development

● Preferred working experience on microservices platforms

● Proficiency in at least one modern web front-end development framework such as React JS

will be a bonus

Good to Have Skills:

● Preferred experience in Elasticsearch and Kibana (ELK Stack)

● Preferred experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ

F5 is looking for Software Engineer II with in-depth experience in high scale distributed systems. You will participate in the design and implementation of of our Edge Computing platform that is used to deploy global, scalable and secure applications. Your work includes, but not limited to, Research, design and build highly reliable, available and scalable platforms, API definition, implementation, deployment, operational management, and debugging.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver solutions that will help create, deploy and manage the service components of the platform
• Investigate various open source and close source technologies, components, libraries, tools etc. and help build a highly available, highly scalable and easily manageable system
• Take ownership of software components and   deliver   a   complete   product   satisfying   functional, scale, performance   and manageability requirements.
• Hands-on   coding   in   multiple   languages   while   considering   performance,  scalability, maintainability, and flexibility
• Understanding and exposure to design patterns and coding practices especially as applied to microservices architectures and API design, implementation and management
• Experience in Cloud native providers like MS Azure or AWS or Google Cloud or any major Cloud vendors in the market and their services
• Independently investigate, present options, review and implement completely new functionality
• You will work closely with other development teams, product management, UX, and QA to define and implement a new product offering while ensuring continued functionality.
• Perform code reviews, set coding practices and guidelines within the team
• Ability to implement all phases of a development cycle for a software product from understanding requirements, going through design, development and deploy phases
• Work with geographically distributed teams

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience in highly distributed software systems, ability to understand the nuances and solve problems related to scale, performance and resiliency of such a system
• Experience in programming languages: Golang, Java, Python any objected oriented high level proprietary or open source language with strong programming constructs.
• Good understanding of programming fundamentals & their application to highly scalable web-based systems
• Experience in developing polyglot software using service definition language and framework like gRPC, Thrift, Google Protocol Buffers, OpenAPI etc.
• Must have hands on SQL or No SQL technologies.
• Experience working on CICD methodology and Git based workflow
• Experience in Docker technologies including experience in optimizing Docker image and managing Docker image lifecycle. Experience in orchestration systems like Kubernetes and container technologies like Docker, rkt is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, team building, and mentoring skills
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ years of software development experience

Roles/Responsibilities

• Own the coding/design of a sub-module
• Review the requirements and provide simple solutions  
• Design the sub-module working with the tech-lead
• Hands-on code the critical parts of the module
• Ensure coding standards, proper design patterns, writing test cases and project mgmt processes are followed
• Mentor the junior programmers
• Peer and junior programmers code review
• Work independently and proactively to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance

Required qualifications

1+ years of experience in Golang, Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms, willingness to learn on the go, ability to write clean code, a strong sense of responsibility.

Experience developing in c++, cryptography and system software development experience,understanding of design patterns, understanding of operating systems, networks.
