Principal Technical Lead - Golang

Location: Hyderabad

Were looking for a Principal Technical Lead with 6+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems engineering to take a hands-on leadership role in supporting our growth in the India region. Based in Hyderabad, you’ll work directly with engineering teams at leading companies, helping them design, build, and scale applications using strong Go Lang and distributed computing expertise.In this role, you’ll be a key technical voice, enabling customers to adopt Go Lang and distributed computing platforms effectively while guiding

What Will You Be Doing?

• Work closely with customer engineering teams to design scalable, fault-tolerant

systems using Go Lang and distributed computing platforms.

• Lead architecture discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and technical deep-dives with

customers.

• Identify key use cases and guide teams through proofs of concept, prototypes, and

production rollouts.

• Educate stakeholders on the benefits, trade-offs, and best practices of building with

Go Lang and distributed computing platforms.

• Help customers compare Go Lang and distributed computing approaches with

alternative technologies and make informed decisions.

• Partner with Account Executives to develop strategic technical engagement plans.

• Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders and decision-makers in

customer organizations.

• Provide feedback to our product and engineering teams based on customer needs

and use cases.

What Makes You the Perfect Fit?

• Must be based in Hyderabad and legally eligible to work in India without

sponsorship.

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend, cloud, or

distributed systems.

• Excellent communication skills — capable of breaking down complex concepts in

clear, technical language.

• Proficiency in Go Lang and at least one of the following languages: Java, TypeScript,

Python, C#, or PHP.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals (consistency, availability,

reliability, etc.).

• Experience designing and building applications in a production cloud environment

(AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, performance tuning, and operational best

practices.

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally and influence

technical direction.

• Experience with distributed computing platforms is a plus.

We are looking to expand our existing Python team across our offices in Surat. This position is for SDE-1 - Junior Software Engineer.

The requirements are as follows:

1) Familiar with the the Django REST API Framework.

2) Experience with the FAST API framework will be a plus

3) Strong grasp of basic python programming concepts ( We do ask a lot of questions on this on our interviews :) )

4) Experience with databases like MongoDB , Postgres , Elasticsearch , REDIS will be a plus

5) Experience with any ML library will be a plus.

6) Familiarity with using git , writing unit test cases for all code written and CI/CD concepts will be a plus as well.

7) Familiar with basic code patterns like MVC.

We are looking for a Sr. Drupal Developer primarily responsible for back-end/module development.

• 5 + years experienced Drupal professional having develop/architect experience in Drupal 7, 8 and 9 platforms.
• Ability to perform complex Drupal development tasks including custom module development using the Drupal API system and hooks from major Drupal core systems
• Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing and guiding the websites architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.
• Ability to perform complex Drupal development tasks including custom module development using the Drupal API system and hooks from major Drupal core systems.
• Develop code by adhering to the Drupal, security and accessibility standards.
• Strong RESTful API development and experience in consuming the micro service
• Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture
• Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels
• Experience creating custom Drupal modules
• Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
• Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as mySQL, Postgres, etc.

How you fit in

Engineering is the executional function of EAGLE's software delivery wing. As a server-side developer at Eagle, you will take the lead on implementing various software services of our core energy retail infrastructure. Not only are you expected to write clean, tested, and maintainable code, you will also be a central part of a product team that iterates constantly, ships regularly, and learns continuously. What your role consists of:

• Develop enterprise-scale backend services using Golang

• Collaborate with engineers, UI/UX designers, and product owners to build & ship new features and maintain/enhance existing ones

• Independently come up with extensible low-level software design. Write modular, tested, readable and performant code

• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack

• Help inform product prioritisation and scoping decisions by evaluating technical complexity and risk

• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

• Maintain technical documentation

What you bring to this role:

• At least 1-3 years of demonstrated ability to rely on an iterative process to maintain momentum on projects in a distributed, collaborative, agile environment
• An ownership mindset: you should look not only at what you’re asked to do, but ask why you’re doing it and how it impacts on the rest of the product, our customers, and whether it makes sense
• Comfort with low-level engineering and ability to write efficient, performant and tested code
• Think deeply about systems and services and write high-quality code. We work mostly in Golang, with AWS Cloudformation. However, languages can be learned: we care much more about your general engineering skill than - knowledge of a particular language or framework.

The venture is in ‘stealth mode’ as we lay the foundations for blast-off. It has been launched by a team with a history of entrepreneurial successes. These include one in the climate change space which services the Californian and North America carbon markets, and another which provides highly refined machine learning software to the energy arena in Asia. This start-up was launched in London at the end of 2020, and will focus on the deregulated energy market in GB. Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong computer science fundamentals

• Deep understanding of relational databases, transactions, entity-relationship modeling
