Role & Responsibilities
You will communicate with all the team members to establish a pipeline and integrate art assets, taking into account the game roadmap.
You will work closely with the game designers and artists to enable the designers and artists to express their creativity within the game.
You will assist your project lead by providing regular feedback on implementation issues and possible improvements to game design.
You will actively suggest and implement the best solutions in the development process and in the game systems. Also, you will address bugs and other technical issues identified for subsequent release.
You will be responsible for technical documentation.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience with Mobile/Unity3D platform and ecosystem.
Excellent knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C#, React.JS , JAVASCRIPT or Java.
Good knowledge of computer science fundamentals & concepts.
A natural flair for writing well-structured, optimal, and maintainable quality code.
Basic understanding of programming best practices.
Experience on Unity UI and animations.
Exp with Android & iOS game development
Good communication skills.
Familiarity with build systems.
Knowledge of using version control systems like Git.
Experience using debugging and profiling tools.
Passionate about games, especially in playing mobile games.
Description
What You'll Be Doing:
- Participate in internal reviews and understand requirements clearly.
- Suggest ideas for design and implementation – design reviews.
- Implement VR/AR functionality as per finalized design
- Translate design specification into functional VR application
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code, where feasible
- Have ownership of quality of output – deliverable, in terms of performance, and responsiveness of application
- Troubleshoot and solve problems as and when they arise.
- Maintain code in repositories as per organization policy
Requirements
Must Have
- Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management
- C#
- Familiarity with level design and planning
- Should be well versed in designing the Unity UI scripting
- Inverse Kinematics & Forward Kinematics & Unity Animation experience is must
- Must have experience in Published 3D Games.
- Experience in Online Real Time Multiplayer would be an added advantage
- Preferably 3D Maths & Physics skillset
- Experience on multiple tools Vuforia, Unreal, Sumerian etc., would be a plus point.

What you’ll do: Core Responsibilities

Create games based on the Game and Level Design Documents

Work with Game Designers to algorithmically generate levels

Own all technical aspects of the game, including challenges in implementing the core game mechanics, art, animation

Optimize code for best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of games across platforms

Write modular code, create reusable components

Create quick prototypes for game ideas and concepts

Very good with algorithms and problem solving

Hands on with at least one programming language

At least a bachelor’s degree (engineering/game development) or equivalent (BCA/MCA etc)
Qualifications and Skills

4+ Years of experience building games for the mobile or web

Understanding of common Design Patterns and techniques in game development

Any experience working with game engines, e.g. Unity, Cocos2d-js, JavaScript etc.
