What you will do:

• Acting as a central point and facilitator for all financial reporting
• Helping develop detailed dashboards and KPIs and ensuring robust systems to track and monitor impact, financial and operating information
• Preparing necessary materials and information for the Board
• Ensuring robust governance norms are in place
• Ensuring timely and comprehensive financial reporting to all the funders, as outlined in contracts with funding agencies
• Preparing statements and necessary reports for the investors
• Coordinating with and responding in a time-bound manner to the information requested by investors
• Managing cash flows and treasury functions
• Managing banking relationships
• Developing profit center-wise budgets
• Preparing and maintaining regular financial reports; monthly expense forecast by segment (vs. projections); rolling 3-month cash out-flow forecast
• Maintaining of books of accounts through Tally/ Quickbooks and related activities
• Incorporating profit center wise reporting and analysis in the accounting system to separately track the performance of each activity against budget/projections
• Conducting all month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset verification, and corporate/overhead cost allocation
• Ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting
• Preparing of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements
• Managing payroll and employee reimbursements
• Assisting in computing taxes and preparing tax returns (TDS, GST, Professional Tax, etc.)
• Reviewing and streamlining the financial, reporting, and compliance functions
• Developing and documenting robust accounting policies and procedures
• Ensuring maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures, at all times
• Serving as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Managing preparation and support of all internal and external audits
• Participating in HR Administration in areas such as PF, offer letters, increments, appraisals, insurance policies, etc
• Managing the company’s assets, leases, and insurance coverage
• Reviewing all agreements and MoUs and appraise the management about any financial liability, prior to commitments made and signatures by authorized signatories
• Overseeing Admin, vendor, and office management to manage various facets of business – travel, corporate gifting, printing & stationery, etc

 

Desired Candidate Profile

What you need to have:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• 5+ years of experience that is relevant to the above role
• Experience in a startup is preferred
• Good understanding of, interest in, and aptitude for financial accounting, business, and financial analysis, GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, etc.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, business awareness, and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality work with tight timelines

The engineering manager will:
1. Lead a growing team of engineers, responsible for overall technical direction of the team
2. Responsible for code and data architecture, resource management and timely delivery of
releases
3. Responsible for scaling team (hiring) and product infrastructure with the growing user
base
4. Responsible for creating scalable system architecture & infrastructure
5. Hands-on coding of individual product modules
6. Own the codebase, identify code optimization opportunities and maintain error-free code
7. Maintain code documentation
8. Setup and manage back-end infrastructure/services
9. Research new technologies that have the potential to improve the product
10. Manage team’s development backlog tasks/timelines
11. Conduct detailed code reviews, create test cases and conduct alpha, beta testing, conduct QA testing with help from QA engineers
12. Gather requirements business/product managers regarding new feature requests and bugs

What we need?
1. 3-5 years hands-on coding experience in mobile application development with Android SDK, Swift or Flutter SDK and Firebase, Google Cloud Platform or AWS backend
2. 1-2 years experience in leading a team of software development and QA engineers
3. A keen interest in new technologies and best practices
4. Experience in managing development tasks/timelines for a team (e.g. by holding daily scrums)
5. Ability to create fault resistant development frameworks for engineers
6. Experience in seamless deployment of apps to Play Store and App Store and knowledge of respective developer guidelines
7. Experience with performance testing & tuning, scaling and optimization of high-load applications
8. Experience in scaling through non-relational distributed databases

Must know in-and-out of functional programming in Python with strong flair for data structures, linear algebra, & algorithms implementation R2. Must be able to apply state-of-art deep learning models to our existing research and develop entirely new methods, which are advanced & modern R3. Must have designed multiple deep learning techniques solving complex business scenarios preferably from marketing domain across industries R4. Must have designed proven pre-processing techniques on unstructured (image, audio, video, text, logs) and time-series data R5. Must have designed CNN, RNN (atleast three variants including LSTM), Auto Encoders, DBN, MLP, RBM R6. Must have tweaked & trained on deep learning architectures mainly AlexNet, ResNet, RCNN, GAN R7. Must have worked on classification, clustering, computer vision, speech recognition, text summarization, time-series analysis R8.
