Backend Developer

Job Location - Hyderabad & Ahmedabad 

What you'll do: 

• Perform complex application programming activities with an emphasis on mobile development:  Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs and related backend frameworks 

• Assist in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible 
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and other engineers on different permutations to find the best solution possible 
• Own the quality of code and do your own testing. Write unit test and improve test coverage. 
• Deliver amazing solutions to production that knock everyone’s socks off 
• Mentor junior developers on the team

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience with Apache Cordova framework 
• Demonstrable knowledge of native coding background in iOS, Android 
• Experience developing and deploying applications within Kubernetes based containers  
• Experience in Agile and SCRUM development techniques 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven 2 to 12 years of professional experience in Node.js development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax
• Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with popular Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, Nest.js, or Hapi.js
• Experience in modern front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and design patterns
• Extensive knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Good knowledge and experience of working with backend systems; 

designing server-side architecture, including production maintenance experience are must-haves.

At least 1-2 years of experience in any programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, Python and Node.js(Node.js preferred).

Understanding of micro-services oriented architecture.

Experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics

Experience in driving and delivering complex features/software modules from technical design to launch.

Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)

• Experience with Socket.io, engine.io (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of Promise, Callback hell and ways to avoid it
• Solid experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Redis, MongoDB (Preferred)
• Understanding of the design Principles of a scalable system
• Exposure to GCP/ AWS is must
• Excellence in Programming, Debugging and Maintaining the code
• A strong ability to quickly learn new technologies and to keep yourself updated with the latest in tech
• A go-getter attitude with oceans of optimism, humility, and self-motivation
• Passion for code quality and attention to detail
• Experience with Code versioning tool like Git, SVN is preferred

Build reusable APIs for our client-facing apps in Node.js

Create and maintain scalable infrastructure leveraging modern cloud platforms Write tests and documentation as you implement features with your team Maintain expertise in current and emerging technologies and tools

4+ years’ Experience with NodeJS

BS degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering Experience documenting and testing RESTful APIs

Experience working with databases in PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Redis

Experience and enthusiasm for working collaboratively with others in an Agile environment
