Roles and Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with relevant stakeholders, develop and maintain the company's websites across all brands.
• Ensure all websites are engaging, responsive, continually optimized, secure, up-to-date and consumer relevant.
• Work with the product management, content creation, Design and Social Media teams to ensure alignment.
• Analyze market, consumer and competitive trends and apply as appropriate.
• Manage, monitor, and present relevant analytics, data, trends, successes, exceptions, feedback, threats and changes regarding the company's web presence and action as appropriate.
• Manage and monitor all website hosting.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.
• Strong knowledge of HTML/5, CSS, SCSS and JavaScript.
• Experience in Shopify Liquid + jQuery, Shopify Theme Customization
• Strong experience in WordPress Plugins, custom themes, custom fields, customization, short code, CSS, MySQL, PHP, Bootstrap, Shopify.
• Strong experience in Shopify App, Theme Integration, Shopify Flow, Creating custom theme sections.
• Experience building static, dynamic, semantic, and accessible websites.
• Proficient in Git and experience in eCommerce and B2B website development.
• Experience using design tools, such as Sketch, Photoshop or Illustrator, and prototyping tools.
• Strong knowledge of developing for Content Management Systems (Example: WordPress, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Node.js and server knowledge are a plus.
• The ability to navigate in both Mac and PC environments.
• A proven track record in a similar role (minimum 2 years)
• 2+ years of proven experience with a portfolio of published websites.
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis.
• Strong technical focus, project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.

Full Stack senior developer with ReactJS & Redux

Qualifications:

3 - 4 years of experience in application development and maintenance

Bachelor’s Degree/B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science or a related discipline

Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS

Experience with using and building automated tests

Experience with CI/CD tooling (at least Git and Jenkins)

Experience with the Agile/Scrum/Kanban way of working

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g. Polymer, Redux, React, Angular, Vue.js or other component-based frameworks)

Experience with web paradigms such as REST, Responsive Web Design, Test-driven Development (TDD), Dependency Injection, etc.

Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs.

Understanding of AWS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver robust and scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

• Translate user requirements and wireframes into ecient and responsive front-end components while ensuring high performance and usability.

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js, ensuring smooth integration with the front-end components.

• Design and implement data models, schemas, and queries for MongoDB, and manage database interactions effectively.

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

• Perform unit and integration testing of both front-end and back-end components to ensure reliability and quality of the application.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues that arise during development, testing, and deployment phases.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance application performance, security, and maintainability.

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers when necessary.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Web application development experience in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (including new ES features), Python
• Hands-on experience in any one of the python-based backend frameworks like Django or Flask or Pyramid along with end to end testing
• Hands-on experience in building high performant React applications
• Hands-on experience working with Object Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), JavaScript libraries and their practical uses in building complex interactive experiences
• Hands-on experience working with TDD in JS with the help of frameworks like Mocha, Chai, Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library etc.
• In depth knowledge of SQL is a must. SQL Technologies that are desired are MySQL, PostGres, Oracle
• Experience in state management libraries like Redux and MobX
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Familiarity with various component libraries and design systems
• Proficient in using media queries and CSS frameworks like bootstrap or foundation for implementing responsive web design patterns in the applications
• Knowledge of common JavaScript design patterns
• Experience in owning Code Quality and Code Review processes
• Experience on Node.js is an advantage
• Work "in the trenches" with junior developers to implement large features that wow our clients
• Partner with Managers, Business Analysts, and test analysts to develop realistic implementation plans with a focus on quality, sustainability, and delivering value to our clients
• Stand up for coding best practices that ensure quality products: automated testing, unit testing, agile development, continuous integration, code reviews, and technical design
• Improve technical skills of self and the team
• Research industry trends and web technologies, and promote adoption of best-in-class web tools and technologies
• Understand client business issues and actively participate in designing solutions and features that meet client needs

Core Stack Required: MERN

Location: Remote

Minimum Experience: 3 years

• Knowledge of Node, MongoDB, Express, React.

• Knowledge and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. (Reactjs is an advantage)

• Experience in API integration i.e. Google, Facebook, Twitter, agora, twilio etc..
