Job Description

As a JavaScript Developer, you will be in charge of all duties related to the client platform, from developing designs for complicated applications, writing functional and end-to-end tests, and conducting user acceptance testing. This includes reviewing software and business specifications, ensuring UI/UX feasibility, and implementing front-end code optimizations to ensure a smooth user experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and enhance the performance of the various services in the application.

Work with business analysts to review business requirements, and UI designers to ensure technical feasibility of concepts.

Collaborate with backend developers to set up scalable API architectures.

Maintain frontend infrastructure, monitor for exceptions in the code, and debug any faults that occur in production.

Perform requirements analysis, identification of code metrics, code analysis, system risk analysis, usability, automation, and software reliability analysis.

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements

At least 1+ years experience in web technologies including, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Strong understanding of Javascript fundamentals with strong understanding of the DOM and browser APIs.

Full-stack web development experience.

Experience with a responsive design for desktop/mobile.

Experience with Javascript frameworks, such as React, Angular.

Experience working with Jamstack frameworks, such as Next.js

Knowledge of latest CSS conventions, and experience with preprocessors, such as Sass or Less.

Ability to work with databases like pgSQL and MongoDB.

Ability to work in an Agile environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Node.js & Angular development.
• Experience with NoSQL database technologies like MongoDB is must.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Product development team in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust MEAN stack Application.
• Should be able to plan & execute Development Sprints in Jira based on given Feature Documentation.
• Should be able to allocate resources for Sprints and give time estimates.
• Conduct Daily Standup Meetings for Team and make sure of Sprint Progress.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in best practices for MEAN Stack development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and communicate project progress.
• Stay updated with the latest development trends, tools, and technologies, and advocate for their adoption within the team.
• Making sure that we are creating highly scalable and maintainable API’s that meet performance and security requirements.
• Make sure to have at least 90% Test Coverage for NodeJS Backend.
• Conduct detailed code reviews & refactoring and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project guidelines.
• Optimising frontend components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Develop detailed, annotated wireframes depicting all elements on unique screen types, including content, functional, navigation, and interaction specifications.
• Articulates rationale for approach in the context of both business and user needs.
• Define processes and deliverable that meet project goals and are reasonable within operational, cultural and technology constraints.
• Submit Weekly Sprint & Product Performance Report to Management

Job description:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

• Track record of delivering various features in large-scale applications or core systems with at least 5 years of experience. If you've written code in big data applications handling multitudes of data or real-time events, you're in.
• Experience writing multi-component systems or micro-services, with architectures requiring efficient inter-application communication. If you know what Kafka is, and think it's the bee's knees, we will think the same of you.
• Experience writing in a high-level language such as Go, C, Rust, Python, Ruby, etc.. If you're already writing Go, or spent a weekend debugging the worse memory leak ever, that's a big plus.
• Experience writing APIs (either RESTful or not) and RPCs. If you've broken backwards compatibility for your customers once, and dealt with the fallout, we want you (to deal with the fallout again).
• Experience with RDBMS systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Couchbase). If you've written queries with more than two joins, or have a strong opinion of why an integer is better as a primary key (or maybe a UUID), we'd like to hear from you.
• Experience with container platforms and orchestrators such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift is a plus. If you can name one way in which a container is different than a regular process, you're golden.
