Web Application Engineers

Primary Responsibilities

1. Design and implement front-end & back-end services with high reliability and scalability
2. Contribute to system architecture and database design
3. Do high-level design with guidance and break down a complex system into simpler modules that can be reused
4. Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle
5. Learn about new technologies and incorporate them

What Are We Looking For?

1. Hands-on experience with Javascript frameworks like ReactJS / ExpressJS / NodeJS. Databases like MySQL / MongoDB and REST API is a must-have skill.
2. Proficient in object-oriented design skills, knowledge of design patterns, and huge passion and ability to design intuitive modules.
3. Experience building at least one application from scratch
4. Interest in learning new languages/frameworks as needed.
5. Worked in a startup environment.
6. A growth mindset and passionate about building things from the ground up.

Roles/Responsibilities:

 Own a team of 15-20 Developers and QAs at various levels

 Provide continuous feedback, training and make sure team is working on their full

    potential at all time

 Review the architecture/design of a product/module/feature and provide feedback

 Architect, design and/or hands-on code the critical portion of a

   product/module/feature

 Mentor the tech-leads on architecting the product to deliver on-time

Jobs Skills required:

 Strong tech background of working in product company

 Understanding of various backend and frontend technologies and its core concepts

 Ability to understand the business problems and solve it with innovative tech

    solutions

 Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills in super changing environment

Prefer Immediate Joiners with Node experience only
Minimum 2 Years of experience in NodeJS. Minimum 1 Year experience in MongoDB Minimum 1 Year of experience in ElasticSearch.

• Experience in Frameworks: Laravel/YII 2.0/CakePHP 3.0/Codeignitor, CMS: Wordpress/PrestaShop/Opencart
• Must have good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good Knowledge of OOPS, PHP, MVC frameworks, JavaScript frameworks - AngularJS/Node.js, GIT, MySql, CSS, AJAX, HTML5.
• Works as a Project Manager and reporting directly to CTO.
• Write error free code and follow coding standards. Able to perform Code Review job.
• Work closely with QA person to assist in testing process.
• Perform R&D tasks if assigned and communicate with Designer and UI team.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Taking leadership responsibilities and handle team well.
• Manage daily/weekly scrums.
• Strong Communication Skills.

What You Will Do

• Lead the delivery of high quality, innovative, flexible, and scalable technical solutions that meet business requirements
• Perform hands-on development and provide thoughtful code reviews

• Design, develop, test and support applications and services using React, NodeJS, mongoDB, blockchain and others.
• Engage in requirements analysis and product engineering discussions, leading to delivery of high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct Proof of Concepts for testing business ideas.
• Recommend ways to improve reliability, maintenance, efficiency, and quality.

What You Will Need

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of software development methodology, techniques & standards.
• Strong understanding of software design concepts, patterns, tools and best practices.
• Must have full stack experience using NodeJS, React and NoSQL Databases.
• Must have worked on at least one cloud platform.
• Should have built and used a REST API.
• Experience with mongoDB is a plus.
• Experience with blockchain technology is a plus.
• Background building container using docker and deploying using Kubernetes is a plus.
