Fullstack Engineer

Key Responsibilities would include: 

1. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications. 

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and implement solutions. 

3. Develop & customize the application using HTML5, CSS, and jQuery to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces. 

4. Integrate with relational databases (RDBMS) to manage and retrieve data efficiently. 

5. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. 

6. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. 

7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and systems. 

Qualification requirement - 

1. 4 years of hands-on experience in Java / J2ee development, preferably with enterprise-level projects.

2. Spring Framework including - SOA, AoP and Spring security 

3. Proficiency in web technologies including HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.

4. Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.

5. Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle

6. Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and experience with SQL.

7. Experience with version control systems like Git.

8. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) 

9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build scalable and loosely coupled services to extend our platform
• Build bulletproof API integrations with third-party APIs for various use cases
• Evolve our Infrastructure and add a few more nines to our overall availability
• Have full autonomy and own your code, and decide on the technologies and tools to deliver as well operate large-scale applications on AWS
• Give back to the open-source community through contributions on code and blog posts
• This is a startup so everything can change as we experiment with more product improvements

Some specific Requirements:

• Atleast 2+ years of Development Experience
• You have prior experience developing and working on consumer-facing web/app products
• Hands-on experience in JavaScript. Exceptions can be made if you’re really good at any other language with experience in building web/app-based tech products
• Expertise in Node.JS and Experience in at least one of the following frameworks - Express.js, Koa.js, Socket.io (http://socket.io/)
• Good knowledge of async programming using Callbacks, Promises, and Async/Await
• Hands-on experience with Frontend codebases using HTML, CSS, and AJAX
• Working knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, MySQL
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems
• You've worked with AWS services in the past and have experience with EC2, ELB, AutoScaling, CloudFront, S3
• Experience with Frontend Stack would be added advantage (HTML, CSS)
• You might not have experience with all the tools that we use but you can learn those given the guidance and resources
• Experience in Vue.js would be plus

Basic Qualifications

● Experience: 4+ years.

● Hands-on development experience with a broad mix of languages such as JAVA, Python, Javascript etc.

● Server-side development experience mainly in JAVA, (Python and nodeJS can be considerable)

● UI development experience in ReactJS or AngularJS or PolymerJS or EmberJS or Jquery etc. are good to have.

● Passion for software engineering and follow the best coding concepts. ● Good to great problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Python's threading constraints and multi-process architecture
• Solid knowledge of server-side templating languages such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc.
• Fundamental knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of accessibility and security regulations
• Managing and maintaining AWS
• Able to create RESTful APIs
• Able to integrate third-party APIs
• Familiarity with user authentication
• Authorisation across numerous systems, servers, and settings
• Knowledge of the core design ideas underlying a scalable application
• Experience with Python event-driven programming
• Understanding the distinctions between various delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimising output to meet the individual platform
• Capable of developing database schemas to represent and support business operations
• Excellent unit testing and debugging abilities
• Thorough knowledge of code versioning systems such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN
• Able to deploy the app on client cloud as well.
