Job Description – Software Engineer (Java Spring Boot + Angular)

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore (Work from Client Office)

Role Overview

We are hiring Software Engineers with strong experience in Java Spring Boot and Angular to work on enterprise-level applications at the client office in Whitefield, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
• Build interactive front-end modules using Angular.
• Collaborate with the lead, QA, and product team for high-quality delivery.
• Understand requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Fix bugs, optimize code, and improve application performance.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong coding skills in Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful API development.
• Experience working with Angular.
• Good understanding of Microservices concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and build tools.
• Familiarity with cloud services is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Note: One technical round is mandatory to be taken F2F from office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Build and optimise RESTful APIs and micro services
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver scalable solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews

🔹 Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with Redux / State Management in React
• Solid backend expertise with Node.js & Express.js
• Database design, queries, and performance tuning in MongoDB
• Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication (JWT, OAuth)
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodology
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus

🎯 Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes
• Unit testing with Jest / Mocha
• Experience mentoring or leading small teams

🎓 Education

• Bachelor's / Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: 

Product Development Engineer is responsible for front end development of modules of enliven CEM. 

The engineer is responsible for end to end delivery of specific components in the module and integrate them with existing modules 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Working with technical architects, able to convert the architecture into design and code in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, and NodeJS. 

• Able to generate LLD documents. 

• Ability to write Quality code with minimum defects. 

• Unit Test and following the coding standards. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS: 

• 5+ years strong programming and logical skills in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, Object Oriented Java script, NodeJS and HTML5 

• Hands on Experience on Java (Spring Boot), and MySQL is mandatory. Must have completed at least 2 full projects using Spring boot and AngularJS.

• Excellent knowledge and experience in Spring JPA, RESTful web services implementation.

• NodeJS experience is value add 

• Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.

• Must be able to mentor and guide junior technical resources. 

• One who is proactive and comes forward with technology related initiatives. Motivated selfstarter.
