What you’ll do

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 2-3 years of experience with the MERN stack
• Good understanding of JavaScript (or TypeScript), REST APIs, and MongoDB
• Clear logic, curiosity, and the ability to Google smartly
• Eagerness to learn, experiment, and grow with the team
• Comfortable using AI tools to assist in dev

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to tools like Firebase, Next.js, or Vercel
• Any live projects, GitHub repos, or portfolio sites
• Basic understanding of cloud deployment 

We are building a team whose area of focus will be web GUI development. This will be a horizontal team that will specialize in GUI development and will build GUIs for all our products. Our GUI development platform is a proprietary tool. It has an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) which comes with a rich library of widgets. It allows you to design the web page without having to go into details of the HTML/CSS, by using a drag and drop philosophy. Once a widget is in place on a page, one can define the database interactions of the widgets by defining the underlying table structure and SQL queries. In addition to SQL & database knowledge, the work also involves data manipulation using Java programming. Query performance and Java code performance and optimization will be very essential for work. So we are looking for good programmers with UI + Java + SQL background who are keen to take up GUI development as a specialization.

• Strong knowledge of MERN stack (MongoDB, Express JS, React JS, Node JS, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, SASS)
• You will also need to interact with mysql databases.
• Develop user interfaces for modern rich internet applications with the latest front-end technologies
• Should have knowledge of of consuming and creating APIs
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Should have excellent in-depth knowledge of Nodejs and MongoDB
• Hands-on experience working with Object-Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), JavaScript libraries, and their practical uses in building complex interactive experiences
• Building reusable code for future use

Responsibilities:

• Building and developing web application using Angular 2+, Node Js and Mongo DB
• Maintenance and support of existing application
• Problem solving, debugging and analytical skills
• Monitoring and deploying application on Microsoft Azure

Technical / Functional Skills:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Angular 2+, Node Js, Mongo DB and Microsoft Azure

• Strong experience in performance tuning of complex Mongo DB queries
• Good understanding of Typescript, JavaScript (ES6), CSS, HTML
• Experience in the contact center industry preferred
• Experience in using Git/Bitbucket or any version control tools
• Graduate in IT, Computer Science or similar relevant field preferred

Attitudinal skills:

• Must be able to work without much assistance
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset

• Language/Script: Go and/or Python , Javascript and/or TypeScript, JS Libraries, HTML5/CSS
• Database: RDBMS (ie. MySQL, Postgresql, Oracle), NOSQL (ie. Mongodb)
• Experience in Cloud Computing (i.e. Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
• knowledge of HTTP and (REST) API design
• Management/Leadership experience in Software Development is a plus.
