Full Stack Engineer

Role : Java Developer (2-7 years)

Location : Bangalore

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable backend applications. 
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) 
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices. 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects. 
• Debug and troubleshoot complex technical problems. 
• Identify and implement performance optimizations. 
• Participate in code reviews 
• Hands-on experience with Spring boot, Java 8 and above. 
• 2-7 years of experience developing Java applications. 
• Knowledge about at least one messaging system like Kafka, RabbitMQ etc. 
• Required React developer requirements, qualifications & skills: 
• Proficiency in React.js and its core principles 
• Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills 
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux) 
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. 
• Experience with design patterns and best practices for Java development. 
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit). 
• Experience with build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). 
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). 
• Experience with one of these databases – Postgres, MongoDb, Cassandra 
• Knowledge on Retail or OMS is a plus. 
• Experienced in containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps mindset 
• Ability to reverse engineer existing/legacy and document findings on confluence. 
• Create automated tests for unit, integration, regression, performance, and functional testing, to meet established expectations and acceptance criteria.

We’re building a smart assistant that ingests client docs (bank statements, payslips, loan summaries) and uses modular AI agents to extract, classify, and summarize financial data in minutes, not hours. Think OCR + AI agents + compliance-ready outputs.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Building

As part of our early technical team, you’ll help us develop and launch our MVP. Key modules include:

• Document ingestion and OCR processing (Textract, Document AI)
• AI agent workflows using LangChain or CrewAI
• Serviceability calculators with business rule engines
• React + Next.js frontend for brokers and analysts
• FastAPI backend with PostgreSQL
• Security, encryption, audit logging (privacy-first design)

🎯 We’re Looking For:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Python (FastAPI, OCR, LLMs, prompt engineering)
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Autogen, or similar)
• Frontend skills in React.js / Next.js
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud storage (AWS/GCP)
• Understanding of financial documents and data privacy best practices

Bonus Points:

• Experience with OCR tools like Amazon Textract, Tesseract, or Document AI
• Building ML/NLP pipelines in real-world apps

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who will develop designing and develop new software solutions; as well as support existing product updates and enhancements. Our Senior Software Engineer will join a growing team of developers responsible for building new and supporting existing products.

• Understand complex application design and program activities in the latest techniques and technologies: PHP, MySQL, Laravel, Rest APIs, Javascript, React, CSS, HTML and AWS Infrastructure
• Implement high-quality code in an agile, test-driven development environment
• Create high-performance APIs, libraries and microservices that scale to meet/exceed client expectations
• Participate in design and code reviews 
• Perform performance and scalability analysis as needed

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Make informed decisions quickly and take ownership of services and applications at scale
• Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them
• Grow engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting and hiring

• 5+ years of experience with PHP, MySQL, Rest APIs, 
• 3+ years of experience with Javascript, React, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with AWS Infrastructure a plus 
• Experience with Github and tools like Bugsnag and Crashlytics 
• Experience working in an agile environment that follows Scrum or other agile methodologies 
• Experience developing software for Enterprise clients is preferred 
• Experience working with project management tools such as Asana or Trello is a plus
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment

About you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Computer Engineering  
• 6+ years of software development experience 
• Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) model building scalable platforms utilizing micro services/distributed systems architecture using: restful APIs by internal and external partners 
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Demonstrated experience with multi-tier applications
• Additional experience in customer-facing sustaining, support work and customer communication

• Hands on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
• Automating the building and deploying of code along with continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (SVN, Git)
• Strong experience is deploying and managing application in AWS and Google Cloud
• Creating secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, Javascript, JQuery
