Job Description: React Native Developer – PHP

We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer with strong PHP expertise to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, along with strong backend development skills in PHP (Laravel/Core PHP).

The candidate will be responsible for developing mobile applications integrated with Education ERP systems and backend services. Experience working with REST APIs, MySQL, MongoDB, third-party integrations, and ERP modules will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP, Laravel, and Core PHP.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party platforms.
• Work closely with backend and frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between mobile applications and ERP systems.
• Develop mobile features related to Education ERP modules, including Admissions, Student Management, Attendance, Fees, LMS, Exams, HR, and Finance.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, scalability, and security.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, push notifications, and API integrations.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL for data management and optimization.
• Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, SMS, email, and notification services.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and API-related issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers.
• Use Git/GitHub for source code management and participate in development and deployment processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to mobile and backend solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in React Native mobile application development.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and modern JavaScript concepts.
• Strong experience with PHP, including Laravel and Core PHP.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with mobile application features such as:

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is preferred.

• Understanding of mobile application security and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing React Native applications for Education, ERP, SaaS, or enterprise platforms.
• Prior experience working with Education ERP solutions is highly preferred.
• Understanding of ERP modules such as Admissions, Student Management, Attendance, Fees, Exams, LMS, HR, Inventory, and Finance.
• Experience working with large-scale or high-traffic applications.
• Experience publishing and managing applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

• 3–6 years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in React Native.
• Strong experience in PHP/Laravel backend development will be preferred.

Full Stack senior developer with ReactJS & Redux

Qualifications:

3 - 4 years of experience in application development and maintenance

Bachelor’s Degree/B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science or a related discipline

Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS

Experience with using and building automated tests

Experience with CI/CD tooling (at least Git and Jenkins)

Experience with the Agile/Scrum/Kanban way of working

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g. Polymer, Redux, React, Angular, Vue.js or other component-based frameworks)

• Working knowledge of Shopify platform, as well as exposure to application development and the use of storefront APIs to extend Shopify functionality.

• Strong knowledge of liquid programming language and experience in development and application of custom/bespoke Shopify theme and modify  the pre-existing template(s)

• Collaborating with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and responsive frontend user experiences

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to address their specific needs and  requirements at a moment's notice

• Understand business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation

• Proficiency in and understanding of best practices for HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery

• Have experience in migrating the e-commerce ecosystem in Shopify, Integrating third-party systems and Shopify supported apps

• Strong understanding of the e-commerce principles and the associated technology/tools

• Comfortable using version control systems (Bitbucket/GitHub)

• The ability to use Shopify Plus features including scripts and flow to best utilize the front and backend capabilities of the Shopify platform in building, launching and maintaining Shopify web-stores
