Role Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive software solutions that span both front-end and back-end technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role demands a strong technical acumen, an eye for detail, and a passion for innovation, ensuring that our products remain at the forefront of technology and meet the evolving needs of our users and business.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and maintain end-to-end applications, including high-performance Angular front-end interfaces and robust Node.js microservices.

·       Design and implement seamless inter-service communication using technologies such as gRPC, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.

·       Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces with a focus on exceptional user experience, responsive design, and fluid interactions.

·       Utilize modern databases and data management tools including MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and message brokers such as Kafka for real-time data streaming.

·       Implement effective caching strategies with Redis to optimize application performance.

·       Manage real-time data processing pipelines and event-driven architectures using Kafka.

·       Deploy and maintain applications on Azure Cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.

·       Write comprehensive and maintainable automated tests using JEST (backend) and Jasmine/Karma (frontend) to ensure software quality and reliability.

·       Implement advanced state management solutions in Angular applications, leveraging RxJS, NgRx, or comparable libraries to maintain application state efficiently.

Required Qualifications

About Us:

We’re looking to hire someone to help scale Machine Learning and NLP efforts at Episource. You’ll work with the team that develops the models powering Episource’s product focused on NLP driven medical coding. Some of the problems include improving our ICD code recommendations , clinical named entity recognition and information extraction from clinical notes.

This is a role for highly technical engineers who combine outstanding oral and written communication skills, and the ability to code up prototypes and productionalize using a large range of tools, frameworks, and languages. Most importantly they need to have the ability to autonomously plan and organize their work assignments based on high-level team goals.

What you will do at Episource:

You will be responsible for setting an agenda to develop and build machine learning platforms that positively impact the business, working with partners across the company including operations and engineering. You will be working closely with the machine learning team to design and implement back end components and services. You will be evaluating new technologies, enhancing the applications, and providing continuous improvements to produce high quality software.

Required Skills:

• Strong background in analytics, BI or data science deployments is preferable with 2-6 years of experience

• Knowledge of React/Vue, HTML, CSS

• Experience building and consuming APIs 

• Experience with MySQL, MongoDB and MEAN stack 

• Knowledge and experience with serverless architectures is a plus

• Hands-on experience with AWS or any major cloud service provider for deploying solutions

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes in deploying solutions on the cloud

• Hands-on experience Python, Apache Spark & Big Data platforms to manipulate large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

• Fluent in data fundamentals: SQL, data manipulation using a procedural language, statistics, experimentation, and modeling

• Collaborate well with engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient systems
• Good experience as a MEAN Stack Developer.

his position lets you work from the comfort of your home. You would be required to work from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. You will receive 12 personal times off during the year. You would have to be available via skype during those times. The ideal candidate would have to know a lot about seo and code to fix issues that are required on google. You would be working on projects from job boards to crm to websites. Your primary job would be to write code. AWS operating systems knowledge is a requirement. But this position would be a lead position to get the job done.
