About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer with deep React Native expertise to build and own the trading

experience on Android — real-time data, interactive charting, fluid interactions, and rock-solid performance. What We’re Looking For

You have shipped production React Native apps that handle real-time data streams, complex UI states, and

performance-sensitive rendering. You understand the Android platform deeply — native modules, bridge

performance, and platform-specific behaviour. Ideally, you have worked on trading, fintech, or data-intensive

mobile products. You take ownership of your features end-to-end, care about code quality, and are comfortable

driving technical decisions independently. What You’ll Do

• Own the mobile trading experience on Android — architecture, performance, and end-to-end quality. • Build and optimize real-time data rendering — WebSocket lifecycle management, efficient list rendering, and minimal re-renders for streaming data. • Integrate complex WebView-based components with bidirectional JavaScript bridge communication. • Collaborate with product and design to deliver polished, intuitive interfaces for a financial product where

trust and clarity are paramount. • Define mobile engineering standards — component architecture, state management patterns, testing

strategy, and performance benchmarks. • Drive code reviews, mentor team members, and champion best practices across the mobile team. • Participate in stabilization and release cycles — profiling, device matrix testing, and regression analysis. Must-Have

• 4+ years React Native experience with production apps on Google Play Store. • Strong TypeScript skills and deep understanding of React Native internals — bridge, native modules, and

performance optimization. • Experience with real-time data handling — WebSockets, efficient UI updates for streaming data, and

state synchronization. • Experience integrating WebView-based components with JS bridge communication. • Proficiency with state management at scale (Redux, Zustand, or MobX).

• Experience with push notifications (FCM), deep linking, and complex navigation patterns. • Strong debugging skills — Flipper, React DevTools, native crash analysis, and performance profiling. Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience building trading, brokerage, or fintech mobile apps. • Experience with charting library integration in mobile apps. • Knowledge of server-driven UI (SDUI) patterns. • Experience with feature flags, A/B testing frameworks, and app modularization. • Familiarity with native Android development (Kotlin) for bridge modules. Job Responsibilities

• At least 1-3 Years of Mobile App Development experience in React Native Framework.
• Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
• Worked on Social API integration, Core location APIs, Payment gateway integration, Google Maps, Webviews, Push Notification Service.
• Must have strong experience in Javascript, React JS.
• Strong Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL, Firebase or similar databases.
• Strong experience in sensors like accelerometer & gyroscope and detecting / correcting memory usage issues.
• Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3.

Required Skills

• Develop and enhance Mobile Application using HTML5, jQuery Mobile, JavaScript and CSS3.
• Define technical design for mobile application ecosystem (enterprise integration working with REST services, Vendor Mobile APIS, Push notifications, etc.)
• Integrate available plugins to utilize native phone APIs to handle push notifications, geolocation and payment processing (Google Wallet, Apple Pay, etc.)
• Potentially dig down into the native layer to develop custom plugins to achieve desired functionality if not supported by the chosen framework.
• Provide a creative source of ideas/solutions to address problems - strategic and tactical.
• Contribute to the improvement of the efficiency of through scripts, tool code, component development or methodology enhancement.
• Develops, maintains, monitors and tunes performance of the app.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts and business users in conceptualizing, estimating and developing new software applications and enhancements.

Desired Skills

• 1-3  years of experience into React Native.
• Published 2 or more apps in the Google Play Store and Apple iTunes store.

• Hands on experience with React Native is required

• Demonstrable UI/UX experience on a large-scale app.
• Thorough understanding of React Native development tools like IDEs (Nuclide, Atom, Sublime Text, or Visual

Responsibilities:

● Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

● Collaborate with cross-team (developers, designers, product owners, QA) to define,

design, and ship new features.

● Prepare test plans, and test cases and execute/automate them.

● Write and review unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and

general reliability

● Problem solve and determine out-of-the-box solutions for complex technical

requirements

● Work with fellow programmers, as well as the rest of the production team, as a lead

● Application of experience and knowledge to optimise game engine deployment for

virtual reality VR in terms of memory, frame rate and performance.

integration with third-party ride control systems.

● Produce clean, well-documented code and maintain internal engine builds, using

Perforce and other tools to distribute builds to the team.

● End-to-End mobile development life cycle from planning to publishing

Requirements:

● B.Tech/B.E degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

● Proven software development experience and Android skills development

● Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least

one original Android app

● Experience with Android SDK

● Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

● Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

● Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and

emerging technologies

● Experienced in handling both legacy code and greenfield development and can make

technical recommendations based on the needs of the project

● Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

● Expert-level understanding of object-oriented programming, threading/concurrency,

unit testing, and modern architectural design

● Excellent source control discipline and are comfortable using git flow

● Experience in 3D engine development experience within the games industry is a plus

● Hands-on with Jetpack compose is a plus.

● Good project management skills are a plus

● Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java

● Knowledge of Swift and Fuller is a plus
