What will you do at Digicorp?

• Build and maintain mobile apps using React Native
• Integrate AI-based features like chatbots, recommendations, etc.
• Collaborate with design and backend teams
• Test, debug, and optimize app performance
• Stay updated with latest tools and best practices

Skills Required:

• React Native, Redux, JavaScript/TypeScript
• AI/ML tools or APIs (OpenAI, TensorFlow, etc.)
• REST API integration
• Knowledge of Firebase or AWS (added advantage)

We’re Hiring: React Native Developer Intern

Duration: 1-3 months (Paid internship)

Start Date: Immediate

Location: We are based in Hong Kong but this role is remote so you can work anywhere in the world.

We are looking for a student intern React Native Developer who will be working very closely with our founding engineer to polish and improve the current product.

Key Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Hands-on experiences with React Native and Expo

•⁠ ⁠Familiar with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Cloud Functions) and Google Cloud Platform

•⁠ ⁠Good knowledge of Node.js

•⁠ ⁠Able to debug and maintain existing mobile app

•⁠ ⁠Experience launching iOS and Android apps

•⁠ ⁠Good understanding of AI integration in an cost effective manner (DeepSeek experience is a plus)

•⁠ ⁠Bonus: experience with Next.js and Tailwind CSS

•⁠ ⁠Good communication and can work independently

Platform they will work on: Building multiple tech offerings for the customers.

Job Description: Should be someone who has done iOS mobile development with React Native. Should have a startup mindset and be able to build for scale. The ideal candidate would be someone with Founding Engg etc. experience.

YoE: 4-6 years

-Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax

-Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms

-Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms

-Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native

-Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming

-Strong knowledge and experience in either iOS or Android native application development

-Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Building smooth UIs and designing responsive screens across both mobile platforms.
• Leveraging native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnosing and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Reaching out to the open source communities to encourage and help implement mission - critical software fixes (React Native updates frequently and dependent libraries might break).
• Maintaining code and writing automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality. 

Skills Required:  

• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle
• Understanding of REST APIs and offline storage
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing
• Experience with Cl/CD and version control (i.e., GitHub) highly valued 
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar
• Strong communication skills: you possess the ability to communicate complex problems in a simple and effective way
• Have worked in an agile and fast-paced environment (ideally at an e - commerce or logistics company)
