Job Summary:

As a Unity Developer at Vapronix Web, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing interactive and visually stunning games. You will work closely with our creative and technical teams to bring our game concepts to life and create memorable player experiences. In addition to general Unity development, you should have a strong understanding of Unity animations.

Roles and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Take ownership of all the features and components of the game lifecycle and lead the product design and code elements. Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and games
• Collaborate with other members of the team to deliver large and complex features on time and to a high standard
• Be part of the development process and contribute improvements and suggestions, driving the quality of the code throughout the entire production cycle
• Mentor other developers in the team and help maintain code, product, and process quality
• Partner with Design, Development and Production teams to ensure schedules and goals meet business and project needs
• Conduct code reviews and be part of the hiring process for future colleagues
• Bring meaningful contributions to our product and the entire team
• Identify process and application bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner

Skills:

• 1.5+ years experience with Unity 3D/Content Development
• Strong 3D math skills
• Strong C# object-oriented programming and scripting language skills
• Experience working with game assets (meshes, animations, materials etc)
• Experience profiling and optimizing game and render performance (GPU and CPU)
• Experience working on a physics-based game project, and source control systems such as Git in a multi-developer team environment.
• Understanding the UX design process and experience working with the UX design team and/or development team.

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Designing stateless components in React Native
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Working with the developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps

We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native.
• Firebase and cloud function expereince would be huge plus

Skills

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript (and TypeScript ) language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Knowledge of (functional or object-oriented) programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ)
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience with automated testing suites, like (Jest or Mocha)

Job Description

- With 2+ years of experience of React Native experience on iOS/Android. Platforms

- Must have experience on RESTful Web-Services

- Deep familiarity with Redux and common popular React Native patterns, libraries, components, and frameworks.

- Well verse in Android and Ios framework and have atleast 2 app on playstore/Appstore.

- Mobile-first design and responsive code deeply ingrained in your thought process.

- Familiarity working with REST APIs for deep integrations with both platforms i.e. general best practices, shortcomings, trade-offs, etc.

- Have a solid understanding of CSS,Javascript and react.js.

- Must be good in problem solving, Data structures andAlgorithms.

- Must be hands on writing Unit test cases.

- Ability to work with minimal guidance in fluid environments while providing guidance/stability to junior engineers in the team.

- Strong understanding of App Architectures, E-commercesolutions

- Basic knowledge of version control system like Git / Mercurial / Bitbucket

- Writes well managed and clean codes

- Hands on experience on features specifically QR scanning, Push Notifications, Deep Linking, GPS etc. are an added advantage

- Hands on experience with 3rd party tools integration like Google Analytics, Engagement tool, Payment gateway integration is an added advantage

Will be developing mobile and web applications using latest technology. Should be good in analysing requirements and translate into applications. Good in understanding application flows.

Tech Skills –

Mobile technology – Hybrid (Ionic / Cordova / capacitor / flutter), Native (Android / iOS) – Expert level – Should have completed 2-3 full sized complex projects with server component, use of cloud services, use of device native capabilities like camera, accelerometer etc.

HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Java script – Intermediate level - Good understanding of concepts and should be able to realize application screens based on the UI provided by designers.

MEAN (MongoDB, Express, Angular/React, Node.js) stack – Beginner level - Should have understanding of concepts, good with basics
