We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

* Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.

* Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.

* Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”

- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers

- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

- A knack for benchmarking and optimization

- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

- Familiarity with continuous integration

We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performing mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript (and TypeScript or ClojureScript)language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Knowledge of (functional or object-oriented)programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ)
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience with automated testing suites, like (Jest or Mocha)

* Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms

* Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team

* Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications

* Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools

* Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API

* Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support

* Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues

* Document the development process, architecture, and standard components

* Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager
