Job Title: React.js Developer

Job Description

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a broad range of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to enhance usability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Hands-on experience with popular React workflows (e.g., Redux, Flux).
• Familiarity with modern ECMAScript (ES6+).
• Experience with data structures libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is an added advantage.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token (JWT).
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with front-end development tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong skills in benchmarking, debugging, and optimizing performance.
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.

• 2+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer
• Experience with React, Javascript, and Redux. Experience with Node.js, Enzyme, and Jest is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 Years work experience in Frontend
• Experience working with libraries/frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, DurandalJS, etc.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3. Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues & ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tool - GIT
