Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain UI Components: Create new, highly-configurable UI components and libraries to enhance features on Virtualness’s self-serve tool and other high-traffic desktop and mobile web surfaces.
• Convert Designs to Code: Translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code.
• Optimize Performance: Ensure components perform efficiently across various web-enabled devices and browsers.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with design, product, marketing, and data science teams to transition new features from concept to production.
• Prototype and Iterate: Build prototypes to gather feedback and refine features to meet the needs of Virtualness's enterprise clients.
• Define Technical Requirements: Communicate product goals and requirements to foundational and infrastructure teams, assisting in defining technical needs for future systems.
• Advise on Feasibility: Provide technical guidance on complex product requirements to stakeholders.
• Document Specifications: Write detailed technical specifications for new features and systems.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in software engineering with a focus on frontend development.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in frontend technologies including React, Next.js, Remix, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS.
• Performance Optimization: Knowledge of performance optimization and CDN caching strategies.
• UI Architectures: Experience with server-driven UI architectures and design patterns.
• Product Focus: Strong ability to balance technical constraints with product requirements to deliver a high-quality user experience.
• Adaptability: Positive attitude and readiness to embrace challenges and changes.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with full-stack development and knowledge of Remix or Next.js.

POSITION SUMMARY:

QUALIFICATION

• Experience in developing large scale, highly available, complex front-end development using JavaScript, React.js and ReactNative.

• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Work with other senior Developers to resolve/debug program errors.
• Knowledge and ability to apply OOD (Java, HTML, XML, Java Script, and Patterns) and impact to the application development process.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (preferably Scrum).
• Knowledge of database design and data structure libraries,(e.g., Immutable.js).
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design development and deployment.
• Experience with data structure libraries,(e.g, Immutable.js).
• Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development.
• Good understanding of HTML CSS and front-end design technologies.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, supporting company leadership and other team members.
