We're hiring for technology company, reinventing hotel operations by seamlessly combining operations with labor management and compliance at the property level and across multiple properties, all in a single SaaS solution. We incorporate the latest technology, including IoT and AI, to evolve hotels into smart properties, enabling hotel owners, managers, and management companies across the US to better connect, collaborate, and document across roles and teams, increasing efficiency, effectiveness, and visibility into what is happening at their properties.

The Opportunity

• We are looking for a seasoned full-stack engineer to build out and manage our entire web infrastructure. Minimum of three years’ recent experience with all of the skills listed below.
• Design and implementation of the overall web architecture.
• Implementation of “Pixel-perfect” screens from our approved user interface.
• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
• Design and construction of our REST API.
• Hands-on experience working with RDBMS and Document databases
• Exposure to graphql is an added advantage.
• Integrating our front-end UI with the API developed.
• Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment.
• Delivering on-time with quality.

What we Require

• To convert our existing web application into a micro front-end architecture. The ideal candidate should have experience in AngularJS, ReactJS, MobX, and SCSS. Exposure to socket integration, mqtt integration would be a plus.
• Identify our existing web application’s different components and modules. Separate them into independent micro front-ends.
• Develop and maintain micro front-ends using AngularJS, ReactJS, MobX and SCSS
• Implement and configure Module Federation in Webpack 5 to share components between micro front-ends.
• Optimize micro front-ends for maximum speed and scalability.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
• Upgraded an application from Webpack 4 to Webpack 5 for local development & production build
• Hands-on experience in converting JavaScript applications into Typescript

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Experience of theme design on the WordPress CMS is mandatory.

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Note: Every front-end developer is expected to have a proficient knowledge of JavaScript, while most front-end developers should know jQuery.

• Good understanding of (Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.)
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.

Note: A UI/UX designer is expected to deliver finished resources for the developer to incorporate into the app. However, quite often a front-end web developer needs to make some small adjustments.

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as (Git / Mercurial / SVN)
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.

Skills ​

AEM Guides, JQuery, Java, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS, XML, Touch UI, CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins.

Role and Responsibilities

●    Build and maintain solutions for AEM Guides.

●    Work in Agile Methodology - be part of Sprint Ceremonies, provide accurate estimates for assigned development Stories & deliver on time.

●    Follow Best and Recommended Practices while implementing solutions.

●    Ensure Code Quality, Readability, Maintainability and Security.

●    Write JUnit Test Cases for Unit Testing

●    Communicate with customer teams on requirements effectively.

●    Manage customer expectations of response time and issue resolution

●    Troubleshoot and reproduce the technical problems reported by customers and define workarounds.

●    Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of the AEM platform, and integrate with other systems

Required Skills

●    Good understanding on UI technologies like JQuery, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS.

●    Must: Good understanding of backend technologies like Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL skills.

●    Must: Good understanding of CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins.

●    Must: Good understanding of Topic, Concept, Reference etc.,

●    Must: Experience in creating custom templates.

●    Must: Solid experience in creating editor plugins and custom features.

●    Must: Solid experience in integrating third party API’s.

●    Must: Solid experience in creating custom output presets.

●    Must: Ability to handle clients professionally during all interfaces.

●    Preferred: Ability to work in extended hours to overlap with North America timings.

●    Must: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

●    Must: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in AEM Guides.

●    Preferred: Knowledge in AEM foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, the AEM platform, the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix.

You will be responsible for implementing full-stack features and collaborate with other team members to plan each sprint. You’ll be working across the entire system architecture and be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining restful APIs, micro-services and databases.
