Position Overview: Front-End Developer (Next.js)

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Next.js and React.js. The ideal candidate will build and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies and best practices in performance, SEO, and rendering techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js
• Implement CSR, SSR, and SSG using Next.js best practices
• Build reusable, modular UI components following clean front-end architecture
• Integrate and manage REST APIs for data retrieval, caching, and error handling (React Query or similar)
• Optimize applications for performance, SEO, and accessibility
• Collaborate with backend engineers and UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality user interfaces
• Debug, test, and document code to ensure maintainability and scalability

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Next.js fundamentals (routing, rendering techniques, API routes)
• Proficiency with React Hooks and understanding of component lifecycle
• Solid experience integrating REST APIs and handling errors effectively
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as React Query, Redux, or Zustand
• Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• 7–10 years of front-end development experience

Experience with deploying applications on cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS

• Experience in using REST APIs with the front end

• Experience in handling webMap applications using leading webMap Javascript APIs like ReactJS Leaflet, Google Maps Javascript API and Geoserver management

• Experience with the Agile/Scrum development model

• Strong experience in code versioning using Git.

• Strong design, development, and implementation experience.

• Very good experience in React JS, React Leaflet and Redux

What you will be doing:

• SATISFIC is a product-based company; hence will be required to work on product development and support.
• Need work on the following technologies – Angular, Core Web API and PostgreSQL.

• Support day to day software development activities as assigned by Software Engineering Leader/Manager.
• Timely completion of daily assigned projects as per requirements
• Complete adherence to all metrics and parameters associated with each project through completion of project.

• Mentor and assist Trainee/ Junior Software Engineers to complete assigned tasks.
• Completing assigned projects on time within set quality parameters.
• Check coding standards and deliverables against each project/product specifications for their own and their junior engineers before delivery.
• Develop module specification documents for internal purpose.
• Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables.
• Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop innovative solutions that improve the efficiency and reliability of the deliverables and system.

About your experience:

• 3-4 years of proven experience in Angular 2 or higher, typescript and web mark up.
• Proficiency with building responsive web application with HTML 5, CSS and related frameworks (Bootstrap, Materialize)
• Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
• Knowledge & experience to user REST APIs using JSON data and best practices related to their implementation.
• Knowledge & Experience in Node JS
• Firm grasp of UI/UX principles, ability to convert UX designs into deliverables.
• Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including AngluarJS.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related area from a good institute is preferred

• 5 years professional experience writing full-stack REST-based applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• 2-4 years of experience working with reactJS.
• Thorough understanding of the core principles of ReactJS.
• Prior experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring JPA & Hibernate.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Adopted opinionated Restful web services design patterns.
• Knowledge of Application containerization technologies, including Dockers, Kubernetes , and cloud-vendor implementations (AWS, Azure, other).
• Ability to pick up and learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
