JOB PROFILE: - SOFTWARE ENGINEER TRAINEE

Experience with Web fundamentals like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and JSP, etc.

Good understanding of Object-Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), ES6,

Hands-on exp in Web app development using modern client-side MVC frameworksusing ReactJS

Thorough understanding of ReactJs and its core principles

Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM,etc.

Experience developing custom reusable components in ReactJS

Proficient understanding of unit testing using JavaScript test frameworks like JEST

Experience integrating REST APIs

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on Adobe Target. - Expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. - Hands-on experience with Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, and other Adobe Experience Cloud tools. - Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies, statistics, and CRO best practices. - Experience with Single Page Applications (SPAs) and working with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. - Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting front-end performance issues. - Experience integrating Adobe Target with third-party data sources and CRM systems. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe Target (ACE) certification. - Experience with server-side experimentation and Adobe Target Delivery API. - Familiarity with Node.js, Python, or other scripting languages. - Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations related to personalization.

About the role

Having found exceptional product/market fit, we’re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to ‘scale-up’, and looking for a senior frontend engineer to help us scale Plum, and spearhead the frontend of our product.

You will have a direct impact on the customer experience through the design and implementation of new features and functionalities in our product. You'll work as part of a small but rapidly growing high-energy team delivering incredible, creative improvements to our product. You'll be in charge of reviewing the implementation of applications following code standards and style guides. You would analyze and build UI Pattern Libraries (Design Systems, UI Kits, etc.)

• Spec, build, test, and deliver new features while improving the performance and quality of the product.
• Run test-harness to guarantee the structure, integrity, and design of the application.
• Solve complex CSS, HTML, and User Interface compatibility issues across browsers.
• Optimize JavaScript implementations to ensure that code remains performant.
• Implement front-end development workflows: build systems, dependency management, quality checkers (linting), etc.
• Ability to push things over the line, ship awesome features, and delight customers.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building web applications with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Comfortable with Responsive Web Design and Development and weave out beautiful code in React.
• Strong product and design sensibilities and has an obsessive attention to detail.
• Write testable, maintainable code that's easy to understand.
• Understand complex problems and break them down into smaller tasks.
• Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.

• Overall 3+  years of software development experience in building web-based and highly scalable applications. 

• Excellent understanding of core computer science concepts like algorithms, data structure, system design, OOP, etc. 

• Deep knowledge and development expertise in React Native/ReactJS 

• Hands-on coding experience in developing multi platform (iOS & Android) mobile applications with REST APIs.

• Experience working as a Full stack developer is a big plus.

• Experience in building single page applications or Javascript heavy front end applications in ReactJS is a big plus.

• Experience working in cloud environments with CI/CD and infrastructure automation is a big plus.

• Experience working in an agile team with software engineering practices like automated testing, test-driven-development, continuous integration, etc is a big plus. 

• Strong oral and written communication.

Skills

• Have published at least one original React JS Application.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.

Roles 

Should be able to single-handedly build performant mobile apps on the React JS platform. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.
