Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications using React. This includes building reusable components and libraries for future use.
• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or Flutter.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices. Ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability.
• Implement user interfaces and experiences that are visually appealing, intuitive, and accessible. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. Understand and implement data fetching and state management effectively.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and responsiveness of applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills (Must-Have):

• Minimum of 2.5+ years of professional experience in front-end software development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and its core principles.
• Expertise in OOJS, React and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API, Hooks, etc.).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
• Experience with React Native OR Flutter.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Understanding of front-end testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Experience of theme design on the WordPress CMS is mandatory.

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Note: Every front-end developer is expected to have a proficient knowledge of JavaScript, while most front-end developers should know jQuery.

• Good understanding of (Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.)
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.

Note: A UI/UX designer is expected to deliver finished resources for the developer to incorporate into the app. However, quite often a front-end web developer needs to make some small adjustments.

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as (Git / Mercurial / SVN)
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.

Responsibilities:

• Review, Evaluate, and Validate technical requirements.
• Work and lead other team members to translate the requirements into final deliverables.
• Understand Storyboards and Visual mock-ups.
• Understand and utilize the latest tools, technologies, and trends in Web development.
• Ensure the deliverables meet Primathon standards, and guidelines.
• Developing your frontend capability in complex problems and expanding your horizon of technologies.
• Responsible for designing, coding and modifying web pages that are focused on content within the standards, guidelines and requirements of clients.
• Work with clients, and other team members as appropriate.
• Understand and utilise the tools and technologies being used.
• Work with CTO to keep on track with the project plan.
• Come up with efficient, modular and scalable solutions for business and technical problems.

Requirements:

• Experience with Frontend technologies (React.js ).
• Proficient understanding of web markups, including HTML, CSS-3
• Proficient with modern JavaScript (ES6+: classes, modules, arrow function, destructuring etc).
