Senior Frontend Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated ReactJS Intern to join our team for a 6-month full-time internship. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior internship experience to deepen their knowledge and skills in ReactJS while working on cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications using ReactJS.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
• Work closely with designers to implement user interfaces and user experiences.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to ReactJS.
• Contribute to the documentation of technical processes and workflows.
• Engage in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas.

Requirements:

• Previous internship experience in a software development role.
• Knowledge of ReactJS and its core principles.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Nice to Have:

• Understanding with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and its integration with ReactJS.

What You’ll Do

• Taking an active role in architecting the solutions we build
• Designing and implementing web applications using JavaScript and its frameworks (i.a. React, Vue, Angular), HTML5 and CSS3
• Working closely with the dispersed development team, client, and project manager in SCRUM methodology

Team members have also used it to do everything from learning new algorithms to playing with the new framework, to exploring what the new analytics layer could be used for. We also take some time each day to discuss what we're working on, and even pair programs to teach each other about parts of the codebase. There's no risk of stagnation in this job, you would still be hands-on after a few years.

REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a Front-End Engineer to help us scale and go deep on our technical capabilities.

• 4 -12 years of professional front-end development experience
• Hands-on experience with Front end technologies - JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with React Ecosystem (React Router, Styled-components, Server-side rendering, Context API, React Hooks) is strongly preferred
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux is a huge plus.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
• Experience in backend programming languages such as Java is strongly preferred 
• Experience in building Web applications using frameworks like Spring, Microservice architecture
• Work experience, preferably from internet companies, products, or startups
• Expertise in design principles and their application
