Frontend Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a React.js Developer who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing responsive and scalable web applications. The successful candidate will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to convert designs and requirements into high-quality, production-ready applications. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of features from development through deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and scalable web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable frontend components.
• Convert UI/UX designs and Figma prototypes into functional web interfaces.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Manage application state using Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar technologies.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow clean coding and development practices.

• Take ownership of features from development and testing through deployment and maintenance.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js.
• Good understanding of React Hooks, component architecture, props, state, and Context API.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 and responsive web development.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or similar.
• Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization and browser debugging.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with React.js.
• Experience with TypeScript and Next.js is preferred.
• Familiarity with UI libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar is a plus.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library is a plus.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

What we Require

• To convert our existing web application into a micro front-end architecture. The ideal candidate should have experience in AngularJS, ReactJS, MobX, and SCSS. Exposure to socket integration, mqtt integration would be a plus.
• Identify our existing web application’s different components and modules. Separate them into independent micro front-ends.
• Develop and maintain micro front-ends using AngularJS, ReactJS, MobX and SCSS
• Implement and configure Module Federation in Webpack 5 to share components between micro front-ends.
• Optimize micro front-ends for maximum speed and scalability.

Experience  4-6 yrs (Sr developer ) 6-8 yrs (Lead)

Responsibilities

• Interact closely with design, product, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules and maintainability of the code.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize the app usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• Review and Optimize application usage, by monitoring key metrics, for maximum speed and scalability
• Mentoring and guiding the team members.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, Angular Developer or front-end engineer.
• Sound knowledge in HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
• Proficient with Typescript (Angular 2 & above)
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
• Passionate to create good design and usability
• A team player with excellent communication skills

Skills ​

AEM Guides, JQuery, Java, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS, XML, Touch UI, CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins.

Role and Responsibilities

●    Build and maintain solutions for AEM Guides.

●    Work in Agile Methodology - be part of Sprint Ceremonies, provide accurate estimates for assigned development Stories & deliver on time.

●    Follow Best and Recommended Practices while implementing solutions.

●    Ensure Code Quality, Readability, Maintainability and Security.

●    Write JUnit Test Cases for Unit Testing

●    Communicate with customer teams on requirements effectively.

●    Manage customer expectations of response time and issue resolution

●    Troubleshoot and reproduce the technical problems reported by customers and define workarounds.

●    Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of the AEM platform, and integrate with other systems

Required Skills

●    Good understanding on UI technologies like JQuery, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS.

●    Must: Good understanding of backend technologies like Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL skills.

●    Must: Good understanding of CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in UI Development and hands on experience on Angular2 or Angular 2+, Node etc.
• Exposure to cross browser compatibility issues, SCSS as the CSS macro-processor, sprites etc.
• Experience with Jira, SVN, Git will be added advantage

Requirements

• Convert design to Angular 5 components
