We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with experience building Salesforce AppExchange apps to lead the development of Salesforce connectors for our marketing technology products.

What would you do?

·      Collaborate with stakeholders in establishing application requirements, determining features, creating customer-friendly solutions, and determining support needs and performance requirements. 

·      Plan, design, develop, test, and deploy software to satisfy these requirements. 

·      Work according to the agile programming application development methodology adhered to including test-first, iterative development, and continuous re-prioritization.

Experience

·      5+ years’ experience in web application design and development 

·      Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience 

Primary Skills

·      Strong background in Front-end technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc. 

·      Experience with node.js

·      An understanding of User Experience and a background in building intuitive interfaces. 

Secondary Skills (nice to have)

·      Experience with Shopify integrations.

·      Experience building native apps for other platforms.

·      Experience with Salesforce APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, etc.

·      AWS ecosystem and tools, particularly developing for serverless environments. 

·      Any experience with other languages will be beneficial.

What You'll do-

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs-Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating awesome interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules, and ensuring the maintainability of the code.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Technical Requirements-

• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert, or a frontend engineer
• Be familiar with Responsive Web Design, common Web UX patterns and anti-patterns
• Be able to tell good design from bad design
• Be able to write clean, maintainable code which others can work on
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap, and Material UI
• Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
• You have mastery in DOM manipulation (including jQuery) and understand components, CTAs
• Know browser behaviour, performance, compatibility and cross-browser issues
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git,
• You take pride in working on advanced CSS, animations and responsiveness
• You seem to have good architectural & design skills
• Ability to own, end to end responsibility - right from the requirement to release
• Ability to produce bug-free and production-grade code
• Be great at debugging, including identifying page speed and performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome Dev Tools, React Dev Tools, etc.
